You're absolutely right about Ember Hauler and Lightning Bolt. I didn't think they cycled out for a little while yet though. I'm probably wrong, but in any case, that opens up 6 slots in the deck lol. Spellbomb is a good idea. I considered it in the beginning, and I felt like it slowed me down a bit. I really want to be ending the game on turn 3-4 on average. I'll do some mixing and matching and play-testing and see what I can do. I really wanna bring this to FNM this week and see how it does. If I take out the scopes, I'm putting in Signal Pest. The equipments are in there for the Gaveleer as a means of utility, to get some hand advantage. Reverberate on a Goblin Grenade or Kuldotha Rebirth is just boss, so I wanna keep those in. BUT, I never considered Flayer Husk lol. Thanks dude I may have to try that.
Haha I KNEW you were gonna say Ratchet Bombs in sideboard. The 4 Galvanic Blasts were expendable anyway until I got more burn spells to play with. And I can replace Hideous End with Staggershock, The Myr went in pretty much as a blocker and a source of getting a counter, but you're right about having more than enough burn to deal with creatures. And Ember Hauler for sure lol
That's true lol, I missed the Outrider in there. It may not win tournaments, but it actually looks like alot of fun to play with. People are goona love sideboarding Day of Judgement and Damnation against it though.
Wow and it's standard lol. Have you play-tested this yet? It seems like it levels up pretty quickly, but how does it do on defense?

Why remove Liliana in a discard deck? Not only does she discard your opponent, but her top deck ability is amazing. But you need discard spells for sure, Inquisition of Kozilek, Mind Rot, Duress, possibly even Mind Sludge in sideboard. Painful Quandary is always fun too. Sideboard Go For The Throat also, to replace Doom Blade against other black creatures. I have a standard and non-standard build of Discard decks, you should check em out.
If you're running rebirth, run 4. Flayer Husk I wouldn't keep. Where's the Lightning Bolts? Goblin Chieftan? Contested War Zone? And Hero of Oxid Ridge never hurts, saves you from the annoying players that drop a wall every turn. Hope this helps.
I love Hex Parasite, it's definitely a Plainswalker slayer. Aggro style is my favorite, and signal pest isn't bad for a splash of battlecry. I'm just wondering if this deck is gonna run out of gas by turn 5-6
Seems pretty good, has good potential. All I would suggest is maybe trade the Ember Haulers for some Goblin Chieftans, and go down 2 on either the Teetering Peaks or Arid Mesa for 2 Contested War Zones. I think that would speed you up a bunch :)
Thanks, I appreciate that. I still feel like it needs a few tweaks here and there, but from the few games I've played with it so far, it's pretty consistent in what it does lol.
Yeah I see where you were going with yours. I don't wanna put anything in here that makes them draw, because I have the Nyxathids. But the temple bells and runed servitors could be worth side-boarding and experimenting with, in case theres a game where I don't pull enough discard. Thanks!
