Be slightly passive, forcing everyone or certain players to sacrifice things until you get Thraximundar out on the field. Then just punch people's faces in with well timed soul harvesting from your opponents to make Thrax bigger and badder. Throw vorrac battlehorns on him or take control of people with Mindslaver and force them to be open to attacks.
