Uh oh. This may sound stupid but I thought land cards counted as permanents. So I figured my mountains would work as red permanents. Perhaps I had better include those Curses again? Or if I'm brave enough, the Spiteful Visions. Can you think of any red creatures that fit the theme?

Hey Muktol, thanks for stopping by. The only reason I don't have Spiteful Visions in the deck is because it also damages me. I feel like this may play to slowly for that. What do you think?

As for Pierced Heart, you're right, I'm going to insert Lightning Bolt AND Go For The Throat instead. And collective Defiance is brilliant! My search for draw+damage didn't incorporate any of the Eldritch Moon or Shadows Over Innistrad stuff. Thanks for the suggestions!

Could be. I don't pretend to be a pro when it comes to things like mana curve and what not. The only thing I can suggest is test running it and see how it works for you. Touching on my previous comment, the same holds true for this card itself. You don't even really need four Learn From The Past them because you'll be shuffling it back into your library as well. Food for thought! Let me know if it works out for you! Cheers!

If you want to run 4, I'd suggest dropping 1 each of Mana Leak, Negate, Remove Soul and Rewind. You're hopefully going to be able to shuffle some of those back in to the mix anyhow. So say you have 2 Mana Leaks in your grave yard and then after they get shuffled back in, you draw them twice more. The beauty of shuffling them back in is that you don't always need a full set to lots of mileage out of them.

Nice build. I feel like this deck needs Learn From The Past. Draw one card and shuffle all your instants back into your library.

Have you seen Forced Adaptation? Will only target one creature but it'll definitely make that a strong strong creature. Another option would be Undergrowth Champion. Managorger Hydra or Primordial Hydra are also wicked good!

Cheers!

Thanks for that. I guess I didn't read the cards properly. Cheers!

Might be a dumb question but.. Why does Merrow Commerce's ability get precedence over Intruder Alarm's?
Cheers.

Nice deck!

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. Suggestions are always appreciated. I get the feeling that my buddies would only ever let me play this against them the one time if I could pull that combo off. And I have a few of the cards you mentioned. I've got Ajani's Pridemate in the side board even if it doesn't fit the theme. It's just too good not to include somehow.

Thanks again!

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I totally agree with you on taking out the counterspell's and replacing with something modern legal. I've yet to play anywhere outside of a very informal kitchen table play group. Most of the stuff we run will have stuff that isn't modern or standard legal. But good to get in the habit of legal modern format. So thanks!

I really like Infernal Kirin. Such a nasty card. Works great with this deck. How would you suggest balancing out the mana to allow it?

Nice deck. I love tribal stuff and this one was one of the first ones I tried to put together. Went a little bit of a different direction but this is giving me some cool ideas. My suggestion for this one it to put in an intrepid hero or two. You are going to love having the tap removal and the buffs from your others will keep him out of lightning bolt range too. Great deck! :)

I love Ezuri. He's definitely in my sideboard right now. Thanks for the tips on those other combos I likely won't be playing this deck all that much because of them though. You don't really make friends playing infinite combos haha.

Good point. I really should have something of my own to copy! The original idea was to let my opponents own cards be their downfall, might just add that colossus or something as formidable.

I hear that! I'm pretty new at this myself. Only been playing since December. I'll let you know if I ever build this thing IRL.
