Good call, I never thought using Illusionary Mask to avoid ETB.
Care to check out my version? I did it a few months ago. Thanks!

Sizzle 8 edition is one of my favorites.

I would find place for a Battlegrace Angel or two. Maybe remove some sublime, 4 are too many because what's the point. Your creatures already have exalted.

I'd add a Bogardan Hellkite or any equivalent big red creature that deals damage upon entering, like inferno titan for example. Only problem it's they are heavy on mana.

Killing wave could be a nice touch.

It's very similar to mine. I don't want to sponsor myself, but it's quite powerful and you may be find some useful card in there.
Let me know what you think.

It's okay, basic stuff. Put on some cabal coffers (makes consume spirit working better too) and add vampire nighthawk instead of the myr. With dark ritual, coffers and swamp you would have even too much mana.

I like it more. That's basically it, but for best results you have to try it and see for yourself :)

What is the process in making an EDH deck? I mean, I know the rules. But aren't those restriction a little like "toss in whatever card you like"?

Looks great dude! I really like it. Bravo.
Your mana curve needs some work lol, I'd make it a 6/14.

Ciao

Hi pal,
The combo is great and I love it, but I'd put in a couple of gambles just to be sure you have all you need.

Want help the opponent a little more? 4 donate? :P
JK, I think I see what you're trying to do, the deck is very nice, you can dominate the field with Gwafa & Mindbreak trap, while pulling out big ones.
Maybe it's missing some kind of enchantment control of some kind... I'd throw in a couple of disenchant if I were you, but maybe they're not that necessary.

Thanks again for commenting my deck and kudos for good taste in music :P

For 15 years I heard Raging. Now I hear racing. CAN NOT UNHEAR
And I forgot to put in Fireball. Now that's just plain stupid, is it?

Braid of fire is GREAT thanks for the heads up!

I'll assume you don't want it in some weird format.
I would drop pyretic ritual and the other mediocre ramp cards like rampart growth, farseek, or the creatures, and replace them with more effective cards like explosive vegetation, cultivate, kodama's reach, or land grant.
If you want to ramp with creatures instead, I suggest you 4 llanowar elves, 4 birds of paradise, 4 fyndhorn elves.
Add 1 channel too (it's limited so 1 is all you get)

Also, you may want to replace fireball or disintegrate with devil's play because it has flashback, so you could always use it again if something went wrong.

All in all I like it, but as I said you need to reorganize your ramp.

Sterling grove could be a nice addition.
Other than that seems a really fun deck.

You really can't tell, because you have to consider the fact that you're also acquiring the opponent's lands with annex. So I wouldn't really put many of them.
It's fine to me. But is there really a reason to have remove soul and not counterspell? Counterspell is superior, since you're playing mono blue anyway.
