Crap, I'm really not sure how I didn't realise that. I dropped both Vensers, and shuffled my Deck around a bit. I took your recommendation and added a playset of Into the Roil, as well as dropping two oblivion rings, as they were getting cloggy, and added in two Isochron Scepters and Supreme verdicts. Still aiming for moderate budget, but I think this will play a bit better too.

Thanks for the tips!

Oh yeah, I guess that is true. I just felt that first strike can do the same thing while also being on a bigger body! Maybe if you where running the curve a little harder towards white. I personally like paladin, but I totally see where you are coming from. Maybe it could be a card for other people copying the deck to think about when they build it.

Maybe add in a few sigiled paladins in exchange for something else? Maybe high priest?

Have you thought about including Fling? I could be good as a way to get a quick finish, just pumping up either Moltensteel or Souleater and then just launching them if you can't get double strike/protection in your hand.

It's a really cool deck though, so nice job!

Draw power could be an option for sure, and while I like Sign in Blood's ability to get some quick damage on the opponent, if I run a draw card I figure Night's Whisper might be a better option due to being more splashable with the mana costs.

Have you thought about adding in Bonesaw or Accorder's Shield? If you get Puresteel paladin on the field, you can throw them out and equip them to him while adding some card advantage for free. I would consider losing some of the more expensive equipment, because I feel like as soon as you get both darksteel and the other armor on the field the game will be almost finished, and in exchange you get some more speed to try to get quest or your really important equipment to your hand fast.

MAinly, you should run less expensive equipment solely so that you will have less dead draws early on but still carrying a lot of power. The spear and godsend are cool but over all unnecessary. I would suggest maybe thinking for running any of the Swords of X and Y as well.
