The way this is really suppose to work is running 4 Lion's Eye Diamond ad 4 Infernal Tutor. What you do, is play Infernal Tutor ad while it is on the stack, you activate Lion's Eye Diamond for the Mana and to drain your hand of any extra land etc etc. and grab your single Ad Nauseum and go to town or grab your single Tendrils if you are ready to end the game. Atleast, thats how its suppose to run tournament wise and extremely competitively. Dunno if thats what you want, but there you go.

Sweetness, I would say add Lands but the enviroment isnt aggro enough for Lands to come in and dominate.

I could see that happening, ive always liked Trinket Mage with that deck and having 1 of Top, Dreadnaught, etc etc. Makes for a Toolbox and has alot more answers while being really interesting and fun. if I wanted a deck I would pick right now to play, I think Team America is pretty hot.

I hate Countertop, never have liked it and probably never will. I just dont see it being all that good when so many people have seen what it does and just play against it or around it, I was hoping Tezzeret Agent of Bolas would make it good in STAX but im skeptical like you are with Countertop. My list isnt all that great I think though.

Thats always a good start, I just ontained my younger brothers Collection so ive got my Playset of all the DUals and other cards and now ive got extras and am debating selling the extras to just have extra cash for expenses or seeing how far the price drives up. To be honest, Legacy is the format to go with. Its the healthiest, most well kept, observerd, and in the long run cheapest.

Ive been playing since 2002, got competitive a year later, and now im 22 so I really got lucky and bought up all my Dual Lands, Force of Wills, Wastelands, Tarmogoyf, The Tabernacle... etc etc. I can build anything in Legacy with the exception of a few cards. I got really lucky and thats really about it.

Your right, I stumbled on this deck really because the classic older Rock wasnt cutting it anymore and I thought this would work out much better than the older styles. I think The Rock in general has always been a fun deck to play, not good, but atleast always Fun to play and still maintains a competitive side that picks up a few tournament wins here and there. I like the creature layout and search, the disruption, and the mid humble amount of aggression.

Essentially it is. I just like the GSZ alot because it shuffles back in and makes you have a more reliable draw.

Manamorphose is good in just about ever Storm and Combo deck because it thins the deck out. End of story.

Wouldnt hurt, but to be perfectly honest I think you should start out with this kinda setup:
Manabond X4
Hedron Crab X4
Life from the Loam X4
Terravore X4
An assortment of Cycling Lands X4 (no more than 4)
20 Other Lands, including atleast 8 Fetchlands (Misty Rainforest, Terramorphic Expanse)

This kind of setup makes the deck alot more consistant and makes it so you draw your key cards alot more, if it were me, I would focus alot less on additional creatures and things like Memory Errosion and go more of a control route. Like Counterspell, Brainstorm etc etc. Terravore can be your alternate win condition and Tarmogoyf is a neat idea since you mill alot of cards, Worldly Tutor X4 would be nice to grab any of the creatures in the deck and more counterspell would help keep them from killing off your crab.

Between using Life from the Loam and Cycling Land combo, he wont be able to play many extra cards. I am classifying this deck as Casual Legacy, for what kinda deck it is.

We need to fix some things if you wanna go Legacy, I think you asked for some help when you commented on my 42 Land deck or my Black Control deck. First off, if you wanna play aggro thats fine, but you gotta limit the bigger creatures and we definetly gotta work on the Lands here. What exactly are you going for? Aggro? Control? Lemme know sometime soon on the forum or on one of my more recent decks so I wont miss your response.

Know what else you can do? Use Cycling Lands, you can skip the draw off the Cycle ability and choose to Dredge with Life from The Loam instead :)

I like it as well, just for extra mana but it would end up being another card Iwould just end up playing 1 of and if I do draw it in my opening hand and only have it... then I really cannot go any further and will be forced to take a Mulligan. Kinda sucks, but it is something I would play only as a 1 of and I still would only have 1 place to dump excess Mana which is Profane Command.
