PS - I picked Obelisk of Esper to be funny. It has almost nothing to do with my mana base, and it's only there because I need 1 colorless mana to kill everything and I could quite possibly destroy my own lands.

Why not just use Gratuitous Violence? I absolutely refuse to double my opponents' damage as well as mine.

The token comes from Followed Footsteps copying a 'creature'.

And I meant more than just the 3 Disentombs.

I would add Demonic or Diabolic Tutor. Buried Alive lets you search for those three Demigods, so why not search for the one that will return them to play? I would also recommend a way to bring Demigod from your graveyard to your hand, just in case.

Why would anyone question anything involving Beebles? Beebles are now and forever more the most fearsome creatures in Magic.

PS - Look into Akroma's Memorial. HA!

As someone who has never had a deck on the top rated list (that I know of), I really can;t say I have ever felt the need to thumb them down. Nor have I felt the need for any other deck, for that matter.

I'll look into it. I don't have time tonight to work on the deck.

Godo Banit Warlord with Loxodon Warhammer and Konda's Banner on him, Balthor the Stout and Lovisa Coldeyes on the table, as well as Gratuitous Violence and Rage Reflection. It happens so often I think I stack the deck in my sleep.

You might look as some Soulcatcher action if this ever leaves T2.

That's right up my alley. My friends make fun of me for going for the one shot kill, but I just laugh as my barbarian deck deals out 196 damage with one creature and I gain that much life.

That means I win turn 7, especially if I drop mana reflection. Of course, that's the best draw possible.

With Seedborn and either Archdruid, Priest of Titania or Rofellos, not very long at all. If I play Helix 1st turn and an elf every turn after that, by 5th turn I could have either 5 lands and 3 creatures producing anywhere from 7 to 8 mana. In a game of free for all with 4 players (which is just about how many we can get together at once), I could have 48 to 52 counters on it before turn 6.

You, sir, are correct. Replacing Murkfiend with Intruder and Drone with Heart Stone.

Nope. You got me there. I replaced Gilder Bairn and Elvish Guidance with Murkfiend Liege and Seedborn Muse.

Essentially, instead of putting one counter on Helix per mana I spend, I get far, far more counters for a steady 3 mana. The mana ramp after that can be used to use his ability again and again, with any left over going towards playing creatures or pumping Helix.

Nope. Mana ramp provides geometric growth of counters, while Gilder Bairn provides exponential. Say I put 5 counters on it then use Bairn. 5, then 10, then 20, then 40, then 80. In those same five turns using mana ramp, I could put 5, then 6, then 7, then 8, then 9 (assuming I play a land every turn and only spend mana on helix).

I'm thinking about swapping out Elvish Guidance for Murkfiend Liege.
