What about Darksteel Colossus (or Krosan Colossus), any Phoenix, Crafty Pathmage (Shadowcat), Prodigal Pyromancer (Pyro)?

It doesn't.

I have a deck that doesn't use devoted druid, but I think your combo would make it work better. Check it out. It uses Furystoke Giant + Intruder Alarm or Cinderhaze Wretch + Megrim, depending on how the cards come up. Mind if I work your combo into the deck?

60 is always a good idea. The only time I go any higher is if there are multiple cards for each part of a combo, I have a ton of "search library" and mana accelerators, or the deck is mostly cheap creatures.

If I have Door of Destinies and Thrumming Stone out and play Relentless Rats, odds are I'll get all of them out. If I do, that's 32 65/65's in one turn. Goo...

Best Quilspike deck I've seen so far. I like the fact that you have more than just the Devoted/Quillspike combo. The only thing I can think of to make this deck better would be Mana Reflection. That way, the Druid gives you an extra mana to spend however you please.

I must say I love this idea, but I agree wil Axil. This would be a ballin' 3+ player deck.

That it is. And if you manage to have 2 Doubling Seasons out, you would get 4 Commanders and 24 goblins. Have you considered adding Goblin Bombardment, Skirk Prospector, or Voracious Dragon?

Agreed. I'm replacing the Festerings with Soulless Ones.

It's not infinite. You put one copy into play during your upkeep. That token is then copied, so you get 2 Commanders and 12 goblins.

lol. I don;t know how many parties we've thrown that we talk random people into playing with us. It's just so fun to help them out until they think they understand the game and then just toy with them for the rest of the night. "AH! What am I going to do? I think (insert new person's name here) is gonna win," as I look at two Seething Songs, a Dark Ritual, a Gratuitous Violence, and an Insurrection in my hand.

Nice deck, man. I have a saproling deck (don;t have it on here yet... trying to get caught up) and went with the Life and Limb/Nature's Will/Earth Surge combo myself.

I like it, but it'd be SO nice to see just one Rith in that deck. Just for nostalgia's sake...

My friends and I make it a point to play Magic around people who don't play to see who we can get hooked. Back in the day, we used to have 7 way free for alls and now we're lucky to have 3 people, so we're trying to bring some people to the dark side. You might try it.

I like it. I would reccommend adding maybe 2 of Jace and scrapping Nicol Bolas. Both would be late game plays, and just how big is your opponent's hand going to be in the when you can use Nicol's ability? Draw a land each turn to get him out in turn 7, then turn 9 he'll have enough power to use his ability. You sound dead to me.

The only magic I ever play is in games of at least 3 people. I can afford to be a little slow. I either have to be fast enough to win by turn 3 or 4 or be slow enough to appear harmless until turn 5 or 6. If this were a 1v1 deck, I'd take out most of the special lands and replace them with smaller creatures.

Oh, my deck uses Mutavault, Vesuva, and Cloudpost to make a crapload of mana.

Sweet deck. One of my first decks was an Informer deck, and it's one of my favorites. Come check it out.
