Deck Description

The main focus is to get Umbral Mantle on Magus of the Coffers for infinite mana, then rip off with a Bond of Agony when Wound Reflection is on the table to take everyone down. Woot. Korlash and Journeyer's Kite get swamps out, and Visara and Thornbite act as back up if the combo gets countered.

Deck discussion for Magus of the Agony Reflection

Could this be slimmed down to 60 cards?

I really dig this combo. I +1, but someone gave you a -1.

Yeah, this could be reduced down to 60 quite easily. Lose Wall of Blood, and a couple Festering Goblins and lands. I just like my decks to be around 70 cards. They just feel better to me that way. I can't explain it, but it almost feels like I'm more prepared.

I feel you roughneck. I just usually play 24 lands with 60 card decks, don't know how the mana curve would be.

I'd use Consume Spirit, but I only play 3-4 player free for all. A deck like this needs to appear innocent until the last possible moment, and only being able to take out one player isn't enough. I might toss a few in after play testing just in case, though.

I'm lovng this combo, I might need to run in it my black deck now. And I've totally forgotten Magus of the Colfers, now I know what to add to my EDH deck.
