WTF is a saproling anyway?

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (8 cards)

Enchantments (2)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

It's a saproling deck... This is a re-build of my current G/W saps, so I don't have all the cards yet.

Sporesower Thallid + Soroloth Ancient
Thelon of Havenwood + fungi = defense

I know the special lands don't make sense, but I added them when I was running Life and Limb and Timber Protector. I'm just too lazy to change them right now (and there's a strong possibility I'll put them back in).
Sideboard is for cards I wanted to include but didn't have room for.

Deck discussion for WTF is a saproling anyway?

That's the one with buyback, right? I used to have 4 of them in this deck but I had to take them out to make room. I'll playtest a bit and decide what to change out. I might possibly have to post 3 or 4 versions before I get it right.

Or I might just split this into three decks. Who knows?

try and fit the Doubling Season in your deck (4 if you can). Plus, Parallel Evolution is a nice token doubler. Also, there's a cheaper costing Thallid than Sporesower Thallid. It isn't a 4/4 but at least you can get the saps out faster. I forget its name but its green.

If you have the cash too buy a load fo doubling season's and take one thelon of havenwood, grave pact and pollenbright wings each and add 3 double season. pollishes the deck off!!

Very good and original. However I'd remove Grave Pact for its 1BBB cost - The chance of getting the right lands is low since it's a 3-colored deck and black isn't its main color. +1

I'd also put Life and Limb,Thelonite Hermit and Doubling Season there.

I think you should just pull out all the white. since your not running a selensye type build its no point to splash white in for 8 cards 4 of which are dual colored. also i think you can pull out 1 or 2 gravepacts. its a bit harsh on your curve and i think 4's a bit excessive since you can mass the field that fast. doubling and the ancient are powerful in this deck but another suggestion is using paradox haze for multiple upkeeps. that way you can make the most out of sporesower and the sporoloth ancient. it also gives you a semi control element which im sure is needed if case be that you're going up against board wipes and other decks that can respond very fast. fetch lands and pain lands might be useful to you too in the deck since it will help with the mana accel.

Jeremo, Sporesower is one of the best thallids out there, especially when combined with Sporoloth.

I'll probably take domwmacdonald's advice. Losing 1 Grave Pact, 1 Pollenbright Wings, and 1 Thallid (Thelon is far too important to my defense to take out) and adding 3 Doubling Seasons.

I'm also going to add some land search like Tenshou suggested.

I am new to the game in a way or at least all the new sets they have released since i have played. Someone told me to ask you for advice on my deck i am using in a tourney. Please help me out. I hate token decks when i am facing them bt love them when i use them. Yours is probably one of the top ones i have seen.
