Spawning Breath and Skittering Invasion are overall just not that great of cards. I'd take out the Spawning Breath for Lightning Bolt or Flame Slash. Then i'd replace the Skittering Invasion for some lands

my favorite card was Tarmogoyf, it helped me win too many games and once it was out of both standard and extended (since i don't play legacy) i sold it for a whole bunch of munneh (when it was going for about $70 per card).

Sort of a similar question like above, was your first deck pre-constructed or did you put it together yourself?

i'd recommend switching out something for Neurok Commando. Or maybe even sideboard him if you know your going against a more creature heavy deck because the deceiver exarch won't function well against a deck like that. Otherwise it looks very fine.

Corpse Cur can get out quicker and as an added bonus is also an infect creature. No need for sheoldred

I can provide a link to this great r/g infect deck that has a possible second turn win but by the looks of it your deck is very similar to the one i'd link as well. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=187718

I would recommend taking out the Primal Bellow because of the fact that your running dual land so you most likely won't get the full effect of it as you might hope. Now what to replace it with i don't know

does it matter if it's not an infect deck? It would be another win condition, unless you are just overall against infect

and since this deck will be going into type 1, Elvish Piper would be a great addition

to make it even faster you might want to add Hedron Crab instead of Palladium Myr

I'm going to guess this deck is on the cheap. Stompy is getting out as many creatures as possible for as little mana. And as stated above Yavimaya Wurm is just a bad card.

Terra Stomper
Leatherback Baloth
Garruks Companion
Khalni Hydra
Wolfbriar Elemental

^ All of those are effective stompy creatures that are cheap

Then also you have too many lands, i'd say get it down to 22 then add +4 Arbor Elves/Birds of Paradise

I'd try switching out growth spasm with Harrow. And if you can replace things such as pelakka wurm with khalni hydra that would make this deck good. Your artifacts and Karn don't really fit with stompy, but if you want them that's up to you.

-4 Growth Spasm
+4 Harrow
-2 Forests
-1 Karn
-1 Wurmcoil
-1 Platinum Emperion
+2 Khalni Hydra
+3 Giant Growth/Primal Bellow

Replace scuttlemutt with Arbor Elf or Birds of Paradise. Then i'd take out some things like thornling or Protean Hdra for Leatherback Baloth's for that early push.

Death's Shadow never gets -1/-1 counters though, it's just a constant -x/-x ability. That combo won't work

With the change in lands you might want to switch primal bellow for vines of vast wood or giant growth or something
