Deck Description

What happens when you have Invisible stalker, Angelic Overseer and then play Divine Reckoning?

I could use some help on the sideboard and making this deck run more efficiently. Thanks.

Also marrow shards? yes its a nice card again whines but not many whine decks left in standard, I'd think about Celestial Purge, its good against black and red, its like a perfect sideboard card.

Okay. The idea behind it was countering the illusive inmoth and also getting ride of early game stalkers. But yeah I see Ur point it's not the best. I'll look into celestial purge.

Looks good now. I like the addition of the image! also the spell bomb? I'd replace it with more o-rings or dismembers you can never go wrong with removal! also love the Ratchet Bomb fantastic sideboard card!

Well, the spell bomb is there to take care of graveyard decks. Since the theme of this set is graveyard abilities and flashbacks, i thought that the spell bombs could prove to be quite helpful. Still unsure on the dismember, but ill see.

will do.

Ok U/W control is got to be my fav build if you see my deck's Ive made its mostly U/W and i have had Major success with U/W in my tournament career. First you want to look at what kinda U/W you want, like aggro control, board control, card advantage or a little of all>? First you want the your counter spells main deck so that 4 mana leaks main deck no matter what, that's a must, and the Negates are fine where there at. Silent Departure is not good for the simple fact that its Sorcery speed, you want to try and run instant speed spells as much as possible. The Divine reckoning is a nice ALMOST board wipe. I would most definitely add DOJ's i just see the Divine not working as planned because you keep one creature and so do they.... Now another thing any control deck has is Removal, like creature, artifact, enchantment, land, the only thing i see really is the sideboard. You want to run like Oblivion rings/Dismembers main deck that helps you against Plainswalker/Creatures. Card draw is essential to Control, so you have to have 4 ponders, and the consecrated Sphinx. Also the sun titans nice you may want drop the overseer (which is still nice) to add in one or even two Sun Titans. And your land count is a little low, i suggest the Ghost Quarter, that has the potential to be an amazing card if used right. Like kill Non basic land and opponent has or even cycle some land out of ur own deck by sacking ur land to bring another land in there's crazy potential with that card especial with the Sun Titan cuz he brings it back and you just cycle land out of ur deck and draw what you really need just. Those are a few idea's that may or may not help you. ( These are just my opinions thoe) Hope this helps you a little bit.

Okay wow. haha, a lot to take in. But Thanks, this is what i wanted. Added 2 additional mana leaks, I took out 2 Divine to add 1 doj, and i sideboarded another. The idea behind my deck was to have stalker and overseer both on the field, then divine. Leaving my stalker and overseer alone and the opponent keeps one yes, but then i attack with my equipped stalker and block with my indestructible angel... Though through testing over the last couple of days the combo has proven to be a little difficult to get out. So i happy enough to add other way of winning to my current ones.
Added the oblivion ring, but i not to sure on dismember, it a great card and everything, i would just not sure if its worth the 4 life to play. I'll probably add it later on, that always seems to happen once i test the deck and see where it needs improvements.
The Titan was added. And i didnt even think about the combo with ghost quarter, orignally i had 2 of them but replaced it with 2 grand abolishers. But with that combo i have to add it back in.
So thanks a ton, this is the kinda thing I like people to post on my decks, im always so biased toward my original design, even when i see flaws in it, until someone else say to change it, haha.

well if your unsure about the life loss may a Wurmcoil engine? I have ran that in a U/W build before great late game life gain and wicked beater when killed repopulates. IDK just some more suggestions.

Okay. So my my top 2 changes to the deck will be to take out 1 lawkeeper and 1 overseer and add either 2 dismembers or 2 wurmcoils. but for right now i want to play test this build.
You have been an unbelievable help so thanks again. I'll check out your deck again and try to help.

Pretty solid deck. I'd think about darksteel plate with all the mass destruction, it could protect a sun titan or lawkeeper with lots of counters. I'd also maybe think about Gideon's Avenger over the Invisible stalker; the stalker will still get destroyed by DR and DoJ, because they don't target him. Overall, I'd love to see how this runs.

Well, the idea of the deck is to save just the stalker and destroy everything else. So when i play DR, my stalker survives(because i choose to save him), and then my Overseer survives because its indestructible as long as i control a human(stalker). So now the opponent has 1 creature and i have 2. The reason i save stalker is because he's a hexproof unblockable human. Making my side completely safe from all removal except an opponent's DoJ, which i can counter with a mana leak or negate.

As for dark steel plating, I might look into adding one, but for know i like this build. I'll add it to the list of possible changes. Gideon's Avenger, i thought about adding, but i dont really see the need for him if i will end up killing him off with DR or DOJ anyways.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I didn't take the time to read all the comments so far so i'm not sure if what i'm gunna say has been said yet. But, I would take out the lawkeepers and give yourself an extra oblivion ring and a couple dismembers. Also, I would take out the moorland haunts and add in a 4th inkmoth and another island/plains. Otherwise, I love the idea, and it seems really legit. The only other thing is if, you're going against a deck that doesn't run many creatures, the divine reckoning is pretty pointless since the Overseer is enough to beat with by itself. But you can always side them out :).

Thanks. I had been wondering on the lawkeepers too. So i did replace them for an oring and 2 dismembers. I dont really like dismember, 4 life and 1 mana to kill a creature. I know its useful in some causes, but thats why i had it sideboarded. If i end up not liking it i will put back into the sideboard and add some mindshrieks or some dissipates/negates. Also The moorland haunt is an amazing card. Think of it as getting a squadron hawk whenever you have a creature in your graveyard. Sure it makes titan somewhat useless, but hey I use titian for recycling ghost quarters anyways. And yeah. If any cards seem unneeded thats when the SB comes in ;P
