Deck Description

This deck makes card advantage a very bad thing for your opponents. Early in the game you will be everyone's favorite player. They will love paying a couple of life to keep their hand replenished with threats... But as the game progresses you can make the amount of damage taken intolerable. The biggest problem with this concept is that while your opponents take damage you are giving them the potential ammo they need to win. Timing with this deck is the key, do not become too powerful too quickly.

How to Play

My early focus with this is to get the defensive weenies into play to keep big beaters off of me. My favorite creatures for this are vortex elemental and gomazoa, because these two creatures are extreemly effective at tucking commanders back into decks. aside from the defensive creatures it is also important to get some cards like howling mine into play. These cards are perfect at this point in the game. While your opponents may realize that they are threats that eventually need to be dealt with most of them will hold off on removing them because the extra card per turn is tremendously beneficial (and add to the enjoyment) in EDH.

As the game progresses you will want to try to use either planeswalkers or some of the more expensive creatures/spells to start controlling the overall board state. Once you feel comfortable with the board it is time to bring in Nekusar. By the time you are able to cast him you should have something in play causing extra card draw for the entire group, and he should start costing players at least 3 life per turn.

As the game draws out this deck gets ridiculously lethal, with the ability to end the game with great haste. You should have multiple cards that cause damage for card draw to your opponents and eventually you will find a prosperity or skyscribing that will assuredly be lethal for all opponents.
