Glissa EDH (Help)

by SavajCabbaj on 16 March 2011

Main Deck (100 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Commander: Glissa, the Traitor

This is my first EDH deck, so please don't mind if I'm doing it wrong ;P Trying not to spend too much on building a deck for the format until I'm more familiar with how it plays.. so this is built with cards I own or can easily acquire / don't mind acquiring.

I would really appreciate some feedback, since I pretty much have no idea what I'm doing here. Lol. Please don't suggest expensive cards like Vengevine though, I'm not going to invest that much into one card.

Deck discussion for Glissa EDH (Help)

Perhaps add clone shell. With Glissa you can just keep playing him over and over and over.

Sorry, I don't know much about EDH in general, as I just don't know the older cards, but I am very familiar with standard.

Off the top of my head I would recommend the following changes:
-1 jinxed ring
-1 leonin bladetrap
-1 pit trap
-1 witch's mist
-1 flesh all
-2 basic lands

+1 vault of whispers
+1 tree of tales
+1 steel overseer
+1 thornbite staff (for Glissa)
+1 viridian longbow (also for Glissa)
+1 attrition (works well with memnite/modular + Glissa)

I do like your deck, and with a bit of work it could be very formidable. If you need ideas feel free to check out my Glissa deck and leave a comment =-). Also I recommend finding a way to give your general shroud/hexproof (I find that people dont like you having an unstoppable blocker that nets you card advantage whenever they lose creatures... )

Cheers, Betsy.

Also keep in mind that EDH is more of a game of card advantage then most formats so although cards like giant growth are good cards like briarhorn or harmonize are better...
