Do games last long enough to have Assemble the Legion really be useful? I just find that a lot of games might be over by the time you get it out and start getting the tokens.

What's the Seraph Sanctuary for? Life gain?

I like this idea. You may be able to pull this off. Have you had a chance to test it yet?

Great idea for a deck. How does it play?

Also, wouldn't Sorin, Lord of Innistrad be a better fit than Liliana? Maybe mainboard him... especially since he makes tokens that would work really well with your Frontline Medic and Cartel Aristocrat.

Very awesome! Have you been able to play it against aggro or control yet? If so, how did it do?

Thanks for the reply.

Do you really think I have enough Humans to make Champion of the Parish effective?

Yeah, I thought about moving Blind Obedience to the sideboard. My thinking was that it would help me to attack and get through their defenses by having their creatures tapped.

For a deck like this, Assemble the Legion is probably too slow.

Martial Glory is in there for a boost to a creature that gets through or for a creature that my opponent tries to use Pillar of Flame or something similar on.

Yeah, maybe if I get some of the bigger guys on the field... or throw a Rancor on it... Something else might be better here... I was thinking maybe Soulsworn Spirit, but I want to keep the mana curve low. Latch Seeker might work, but I don't like that it has two blue in it's cost.

Any ideas?

This looks AWESOME. I would love to play this deck.

The only thing I'd change is Searing Spear to Lightning Bolt. Just one mana cheaper, but hey, it can add up. :)

Also, do you Fling the Nova Chasers? Or do you equip them with the Lightning Greaves?

True. I might be taking Drespar's suggestion and making this more of an enchantment themed deck. If I do, I'll probably main board the keyrunes. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks for your reply!

My deathtouchers aren't tough enough for what? I'll trade a Typhoid Rats for an Armada Wurm or something huge like that any day. Do you think my opponent would want to? Hell no. Deadly Allure and Golgari Charm both regenerate my creatures. Deadly Allure also makes sure they are going to be blocked. Again, trade a 1-drop for a 3, 4, or hell, even a 2-drop that my opponent NEEDS? Why wouldn't I do that? Granted, a token deck, yes, this deck will be no good. And I agree. That's why I said this is a FUN deck. It's not meant to be tournament quality.

Anyway, giving them first strike is a great idea... Thanks again for the feedback!

Thank you so much for the suggestions!

The only thing that concerns me about the Sphere's and the Azor's is their high mana cost. And, if I take out some of the cheaper spells, I'm concerned I won't have enough control in the early game. Thoughts on that?

Oh, hell yes. I'm going to switch out the Gelatinous Genesis's for Primordial Hydras. Thanks!

Hey Poet, would you do me a favor and check out this Standard deck I built? I want to make it better and would like your opinion.

Thanks for checking mine out. You're is pretty good, but I'm trying to keep mine Modern legal.

I thought about Frogtosser, but the Goblin spells are already low enough that I didn't think he would be very useful. However, being able to get a Krenko out faster would be nice... I also did think of Auntie's Hovel, but figured the deck was fast enough. I'll think about it, though.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Pillar is great for specific creatures, but if you find yourself up against hexproof creatures, Electrickery is the better way to go in my opinion.

Chandra or Thundermaw... I think Chandra fits better with what you're doing here. Deals damage and copies spells. Thundermaw is great but a little spendy for a deck like this. Plus his 3rd ability can be done with Electrickery and it'll hit all creatures, not just flying. It won't tap them like his ability will, but again, it's way cheaper and you could copy it with Increasing Vengeance and/or Chandra. ;)
