If already cycled out, which I believe with the Illusions of Grandeur being from Ice Age - Zuran Orb now! :)

Neat :) I like this.

When your deck cycles out - Zuran Orb :)

A Black/White version of this with beacon of immortality would be nice too. :)

Feel free to come up with help for my "Nissa Revane's Sliver Circus" experiment.

I see now, that you really like to control what you draw :) (referring to the Sylvan Libraries and the Sensei's)

I don't really get the combos in this deck.

I found one, with your Lorescale Coatl and the Sylvan Libraries. Seems really good for a low mana, adding +3 counters on it every turn.

But besides that one, I don't really see it. I can't see you getting full benefit of neither Tarmogoyf or Quirion Dryad.

Tarmogoyf does good w milling, and the Quirion Dryad doesn't really seem like that good a card to me.

I'm not that much into blue, but isn't there some sort of restriction on brainstorm?

And how do you win? The 2x Grapeshot?

It's a nice card, I've seen it. The duo mana source is great in this deck. It wasn't released when I built and bought the cards for this deck 3½ years ago :)

But I should probably update it with at least 2x Spitemare, maybe instead of Crater Hellions.
Though I like the Crater Hellions to reset the board when i'm falling behind.

Please feel free to comment on my project :

And help with suggestions to make it a more complete deck. It is just a basic 60-card-idea atm.

Thank you for commenting :)

Hehe, I try hard to name my decks after the american soul-singer Otis Redding's songs (covers and originals).

I know it's a bit wierd ;)

Pariah works better with the volcanic Hellion as a part of the deck-combos. With a pariah on a doll or a maniac a volcanic Hellion will offer you infinitive damage, without it you have to have a life advantage to get a win condition.

But I can easily see how it's an effective defensive card, along with doubling the damage-result you put into a maniac or a doll.

It is without a doubt a card I should consider. Maybe pull out a couple of Lightning bolts- since it can be used for creature destruction as well.

hmm ... don't think prismatic omen makes your lands produce any-color-mana.

A vampire deck :)

I've thought of making one myself, but I haven't really managed to get into all the different vampire cards.

Why do you have 65 cards in the deck, when it's easy to find 5 in this deck, that aren't required. ( a Swamp, a Nightmare and 2 Demonic Tutors. Thats 4 :)

I like Ob nixilis, even though he is a demon, but you have no combo to boost him - ( hence i'm considering him in my black deck, in combo with Korlash. )

Well, you make a zillion decks a week, so I guess getting equally good combos in everyone isn't that easy.

I will remember you decklist when I have to make another deck, cause you've probably already been there exploring the variations of cards in your "log-book"-of decks :)

You got 9 creatures you can actually play, only 4 of them which can truly trigger your combo, and pull out a big one.
Pipers are so fragile. This deck will loose to most other decks unless you remake some of the things in it. 4x emrakul.. if your pipers are wrecked (lets not forget that they have summoning sicknees, 1 toughness and cost 4 mana), its a useless draw.

So its a big one in fifth turn at fastest possible rate, relying on piper. Meaning that against a fast deck, you'll probably be annhialated by then. Either loosing your ability to defend your 4 pipers with the counters, trying to keep him out of the game or accepting him getting most everything down.

Ponder is restricted I think already. This is almost a complete copy of a deck one of the wizards.com bloggers made on their website a long time ago. He used almost all the same cards, and explained very thouroughly why.

http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/boab/100 this is the link from July. Pretty much a replica.

I don't really know this, but I think that prismatic omen only makes it other basic land types- meaning that they don't produce mana of any color.

Seems nice. I have no recommendations, since my knowledge in blue (along with the general exsistense of awsome cards ) is not at a sufficient level.

Would like to see Raven Guild Master in action in a deck with haunting echoes though ;)

I like trample. 4 cards with trample- even though you draw cards like hell with your auratog, rancor, aspect, encantress-dancer- combo- is too little since it is basicly the key-card to getting through regeneration or a guy who can consistently bring up a blocker.
