thank you, i had a Vish kal edh deck but decided that i would want a black and white casual deck.
thats the point of curse of the pierced heart.
you might like to try master of the pearl trident, and also Talrand.
you might consider kiln fiend, it works very well with chain lightning and lightning bolt.
to improve on your mana try putting in braid of fire, i think this deck is pretty good though.
ok thanks for the help and i'm just used to having to rely on lands to help with the game so i usually dont like to sac them. as for creatures, i will trade arc runner for ball lightning, i didnt know about it until now. thank you so much.
okay so i do enjoy those suggestions, but i dont think that some of those i would use. rift bolt would be good, lava spike i don't want because it can't target a creature. chain lightning is good against any other deck but red because they can pay 2r and hit me for 3. i dont like fireblast because i don't want to have to sacrifice land and it's 6 mana to cost without it, although i can see it would be a great finisher. i dont like any of the creatures but thanks for the suggested rift bolt, i'll add that.
thank you i'll look into those and see what i can improve on. 20 land will probably work.
well if you're trying to build a deck for a beginner, i think that her deck shouldnt have to be standard. my first deck wasnt and if she is a beginner, then why would she need a standard? is she going to play it in tournaments? a ramping deck is very good to put together for newbies.
i like the all-around setup, but i think your sideboard needs more burn stuff like thunderbolt for it to be more effective on a one-on-one. also consider doing a ball lightning.
Great deck
