This is exactly what we need, more multiplayer budget decks! :D I play multiplayer a lot, and I've designed a good amount of my decks to be able to run as smoothly as possible in (free for all, emperor, assassin or usurper type) multiplayer games, and I'm always looking for good ideas :-) You got yourself a follower!

This deck seems very fun! What's with Undercity Shade though?

Check out some of my multiplayer decks if you want to. Most are very budgetfriendly!

Mill deck, survives quite well in multiplayer!

Creatureless (!) discard deck. Tricky, but quite brutal and annoying :-)

Mono green (!) self mill graveyard deck, taking power from your own ànd your opponent's graveyards. Very versatile and brutal :-) ànd dead cheap!

An experimental mono red deck designed for multiplayer. Tricky to play, but it can deal some véry surprising punches! Dead cheap! :D

Very powerful extort and constellation deck, this thing is second to none! Dead cheap ;-)

There's this 3/2 centaur for 2 green mana, which can easily replace your Tower Archer. Also, how about that other centaur which you can tap for mana equal to your devotion to green? Forgot the name as well :p It's a 4cmc creature uncommon.

I threw out Kruphix's Insight in exchange for Scout The Borders, a far better card. It dredges only 5 cards instead of 6 for the same 3 mana, but it lets me keep a creature or land, whichever I need more. Brilliant! :-)

Cool! Perhaps some Ravenous Rats for even more discard?

Ah, overlooked that. The coordinated strikes work great with that as well. Very nice :-)

Hm, maybe I didn't press "post reply" enough. I thought maybe I offended you or something :-) Just wanted to check, my bad!

Cool! Check out Chosen by Heliod, cheap-ass enchantment that triggers Constellation, protects your creatures a bit ànd gives you a card!

I made an extortion and constellation combo a while back, does OK in duels and is unmatches in multiplayer matches. Check it out for inspiration or fun :-)

Yeah exactly :-) And they're migty fine suggestions! I'm considering integrating them in my own deck, except for Rishadan ports (obviously) and Creeping Tar Pit, that one's quite costly here as well. Oh and Energy Flux, it's too specific for my taste :-)

The deck is a direct copy of mine, so I don't much thought or cash went into it :p

Chariot of Victory sounds a bit unnecessary, since you already have Minotaurs giving àll your minotaurs trample and haste, amongst other things. No?

I don't understand why you'd put in Nemesis of Mortals... He's so much weaker than Ghoultree! Best case scenario he costs you 4 CMC where Ghoultree only costs you 1 CMC... I'm not a fan :-) Sure, you can spread your casting cost a bit when you"ve only got 4 creatures in your graveyard... but your opponent still knows a 10/10 is coming. Where as ghoultree can be cast for 1 mana, and you have an instant 10/10, ànd more mana for other stuff! :-)

Also: Gnaw to the bone! :-)

You could also go all the way with each creature dealing damage to its controller, using Rakdos Charm. 2 mana, instant speed, and 2 other spells which I forgot :p

Glad you like it!

I could use some more mana, technically, but haven't really felt the need for it in the games I played this deck (and terrified my opponents :p). Tinder Wall helps as a defender as well as a one-time ramper, giving me 2 colorless mana, ànd fills my graveyard in the meantime.
Kruphix's Insight gives me 6 self-mills, which is quite a lot! It increases the chance of having a Golgari Gravetroll in my graveyard, which usually is the point of no return for my opponents. I've been in doubt a lot about switching it with Mulch because it gives you the lands, but still... Gnaw to the Bone is my survival card, and I just went and put more in :-) That card saved my ass loads of times!

I'm liking the ideas, but I'm afraid it'll kill the way it works now :-) It's doing very well lately, even in multiplayer free-for-all matches, which I play often.

That's what the site is quite useful for indeed, trying out new things and kind of visualising what you've constructed.

I own and play all decks that I put on here, so I'm a bit different than you in that aspect :-) I like having a digital database of my decks, and drawing statistics and trying out changes before I actually change the deck. It's also useful for making proxy decks, like my 2 newest decks (Simic Ally and Multiplayer Discard deck) are in proxy form at the moment. If they work like I expect them to, I have fun with them and I can find the cards in trades or for a reasonable price, i'll consider actually buying & building them.

It's a fun hobby :-)

Yeah same here, I try out a lot of stuff too. But a lot of my decks actually stay together and get played a lot. They get changed or upgraded sometimes, but the core concepts always stay the same.

Ah I get it. I thought it was a more aggressive deck, using the Phyrexian mana as often as possible and then using lifegain to absorb the damage you take. But I see this thing working, quite nice! Cool concept and mechanic :-)
