Awesomeness! I'm not too sure about your way of gaining life, though. Surely there's better and more consistent ways of regaining life than ETB abilities?

Hm, this needs some work, especially since you don't seem to make a budget deck and don't mind sticking to vintage.

I'd take out the Boros Charms, Rootborn Defenses and Knight of the Reliquary, this takes out white entirely. I'd take the red out as well, but it has its uses.
Other cards you could take out: Nessian Asp and Vexing Crusher perhaps, uless you actually play against a lot of blue control decks, which seems to be the case.

The free space in your deck can be filled with Zhur-Taa Druid (mana and good in MP) and even Burning Tree Emissary.

I have a mana ramp hydra deck, vintage, mono green, quite cheap, with craploads of damage. Check it out for inspiration if you want to:

This is brilliant! I love the ways you can get you Emperion out rather early and how you have plenty of wincons in the deck! Perhaps some more shroud/hexproof for your Empirion could be useful? Or have you found it you have plenty of that?

Either way, kudos! Very fine deck!

Hm, this does need some work...

Check out my own extortion and enchantment combo deck for some ideas, it's also still very cheap, but brutally effective! In fact, it's cheaper than your deck :D

You definitely need Talus Paladin in here! Ondu Cleric gives you life, but Talus Paladin gives you lifelink, which is far more interesting considering the power your allies will have.

Check out my own selesnya ally deck for ideas if you want to:

A Bile Blight deals with this easily. And an Anger of the Gods. I know because I have :p
Not to crap on your combo though, I love allies (run a Selesnya Ally deck, no infinite combos, but still a véry tough deck to beat) and it's an easy and cheap combo :-) I might just make a Simic ally deck as well :p

Infect, extortion and prison don't make you very popular either. They make you a very valuable ally in non-free-for-all multiplayer matches though :-) I don't mind playing them. It makes my group grateful when I'm not using one of these decks but a hydra deck attacking for over 100 trample damage on turn 5 or something like that ^^

I play these decks as well, especially the second one causes an exponential wave of curses and swear words to be uttered from my poor opponents :p Also, they're ridiculously cheap.

I wasn't disagreeing with you, quite the contrary :-) I play multiplayer almost exclusively so I know what I'm in for :-)

Well you'd think it's made for competitive play with a budget like that, wouldn't you? :-)

Hah, that's a coincidence, seems like everyone is in a discard deck mood lately. I just made a budget-ish multiplayer oriented discard deck that runs pretty smoothly! :-)

Well, Godsend is a brilliant card, but I'm not sure if it's what you want against all that aggro you face. How about Honor of the Pure instead? It'll pump your tokens, except for the golbins though, and only costs 2 mana. But I'm sure there's better enchantments pumping tokens specifically.

The heroic is a bit of a tough one. It can be very useful, but in my opinion mainly when you focus on it. So I'm not sure if adding Akroan Crusader and Vanguard of Brimaz is such a good idea, because it implies adding more spells that target them to get the most of out it.

Research is your friend! :-) Hopefully now you know a bit more what to look for?

Well the idea is good! And you've got some good combo's in there, the trick is to get the most out of it.

First off, i'd ditch all the planeswalkers :-) They're not necessary for évery deck, and I think in this deck they don't add crucial things.

The thing with the tokens and Spear of Heliod is brilliant. Theoretically, giving all your creatures +1/+1 effectively doubles your token power. So you should stick with that, and either keep your heavy hitters as... well heavy hitters :-) and as your win-con, or a massive amount of tokens as a win-con. That could work!

I like Titan's Strength, it works well with double strike. Dragon Mantle, I'm not too sure.

If you ditch your Planeswalkers, you get 8 more spaces... You could add 4 Vanguard's of Brimaz, it's not a brilliant card, but could work well in the long run and adds more tokens. Or you could add Akroan Crusader and switch Dragon Mantle with a Strive instant spell or something like that. Even Coordinated Strike could work well early game. This way you can either chump block an aggro with the Crusader, or get more tokens.

This is just me brainstorming though :-) What do you think?

Well if helps if you could tell us what it is you want to achieve? :-) I see some tokens and some aggro, but that's all. Is this a combo deck, or an aggro deck? Where do you want your focus?

I'm not really sure what I'm looking at... You've got no permanents with CMC less than 2, and a Planeswalker you can't cast because he needs a green mana to cast, which you don't have...

Yeah Weapon Surge and Petrifier are brilliant, aren't they? ^^ I'll switch it with Coordinated Assault after Weapon Surge is no longer Standard legal though, just to keep the deck Standard.

They're just like goblins indeed. Except a tad more horny :-)

Like the deck! You've got a lot of removal there! Check out my minotaur deck if you want to (http://www.mtgvault.com/spiffmeister/decks/s-horned-almighty-2/), it's got loads of punch and aggression, but no removal at all :D I try to use my minotaurs as removal, while they rampage through everything they come across. Sounds dumb, but it works :-)

You could use another Ragemonger btw, that's definitely the best minotaur out there!
