okay sorry I have to explain this again, but the point of this "deck" is not to be a deck of any kind. the point of this "deck" was to point out numerous combinations that stack upon Flesh-Eater Imp to make it awesome. Obviously nobody would make a deck like this for any tournament, but it is my goal to give Flesh-Eater Imp the reputation it deserves and allow modern Infect decks to incorporate a few of these combinations to really take advantage of such a great card.

honestly I dont play fast infect. In my opinion, it is far too easily controlled and stalled, and requires a bit of luck to get enough pump. If you look at my other infect decks, you'll see that while not going at a Snail's pace, I tend to draw out the game slightly longer and build up a larger number of combos while also controlling the opponent. Just my opinion, but I'd rather not rely on a quick lucky first strike and build up a force to be reckoned with. My newest Infect deck, not this one, has currently gone 7-1 against some highly competitive legacy decks of all types, which I'm pretty proud of. ANd while I'd agree Distortion Strike and Blue would tremendously help this "deck" in particular, the point isn't to show that this deck is good, it's to show just how valuable I think Flesh-Eater Imp really is in terms of consistency when placed in a deck that can function without him, and then be brutal with him. Again that's just my opinion again... Thanks for the input :)

why Gargoyle Sentinel? Aren't there better, much cheaper options for walls? Just my opinion but I was curious if there was any hidden reason.

why songs of the damned? If you're planning on pulling mana from the dead germs, they dont stay in your graveyard...

for some reason my other comment didnt stick so ill repost here :)

6 Jaces seems a bit much to me. You may want to disperse your Planeswalkers a little bit more so as to not keep them sitting in your hand...

Here's my take on a similar strategy. I'd love your feedback on mine :)

okay i was originally thinking power 9 except i kinda need consistent crazy mana, not 1 time use mana. Urza's mine, Tower and Powerplant are an excellent addition kind sir. Umm I'm just not sure what to replace for them :/ Any suggestions lol?

not sure if it would really fit in here... but you're low on mana or dont get Haunting Echoes, Nihil Spellbomb is one of my favortie Exile Graveyard cards and its only 1 mana :O

yeah buddy that is in fact wrong and Church is right. It specifically says that you PLAY the top card of your library and does NOT say you can play an additional land FROM YOUR HAND. and yes i suppose you could then keep going off of the first hand turn with fastbond... the point isnt that this deck could possibly work if given an absolute perfect starting hand. heck the Charbelcher deck is easier and more reliable to do that anyways. To get outLiege quickly AT ALL you absolutely NEED at least 1 fastbond, 1 Mul Daya, and a Liege. That's a (4 / 60)^3 * However many cards into the game you are / 100 = % Chance. That's NOT good.

That's simply not going to happen O_O Okay first 2 turns means 9 cards total. You need 8 forests, Liege, and Fastbond for that to happen. That's 10 cards. Now imagine you starting with Mul Daya, Fastbond, Liege and 4 forests and you draw another forest on your starting turn. First turn use fastbond to drop all your lands and play Mul Daya. Now assume your top card is a land. Play it. You now have 6 forests. To get Liege out next turn both of your next cards must be forests. They ONLY way to get Liege out is to have a PERFECT 11 card draw. Otherwise you're sitting on your butt doing nothing and allowing your opponent to build up land for control. What happens when they Revoke Existence your Liege? Doom Blade it? Deathmark it? Pacify it? Oblivion Ring? Negate your Green Sun's Zenith? Counterspell? Your opponent has plenty of creatures to kill Liege without taking any damage? They play liquimetal and Splinter your Forest removing literally every single one from the game? This deck seems to be pretty flavorless and once your main strategy is foiled by justa couple of cards... It's kinda just done... I don't mean to hate on your deck or anything, but you need to factor in other ways for a deck to work other than 1 card... Sorry... =/

okay here's my view on Vedalken Engineer versus Etherium Sculptor. Now obviously Engineer allows for 2 free mana on any single turn, meaning that if I only drop 1 artifact, I save 1 mana that turn. BUT with Etherium Sculptor, if I drop 2 or more artifacts, the effect is the same if not better. Now you would be correct in saying "How often are you going to drop 2 or more artifacts in a single turn?" The difference that I feel makes up for the slight mana deficiency is the fact that Etherium Sculptor does not tap. White that may not seem like much, keep in mind that Steel Overseer will be out, making Sculptor an incredible blocker, allowing me to hit with even more of my Infect creatures without worrying about getting hit back. I enjoy the insight, though. Thank you :)

i thought that at first... but honestly its really not... only 2 types of creatures do not have infect: Etherium Sculptor (VERY useful in here) and Steel Overseer (Which makes all of you rinfect creatures, which happen to be all artifacts, absolutely ridiculous). I would still classify this as Infect as it really is the only-winning condition and it actually pulls it off pretty well...

wow I REALLY like Mycoloth... thing is a beast and it also feeds Twilight Drover too... In terms of a tutor, I actually don't know what to pull out to put in Enlightneded Tutor... Honeslty this deck becomes crazy when Doubling Season out... but it actually seems to be working quite well even if it doesnt get one thanks to Rys the Redeemed lol. Thanks for the comments though :)

The mana curve on this one is preeeeetty steep. 73% of your actual spells require it to be at least your 3rd turn to even start playing. the combos are good once it gets up there, but you can probably weed out some of the huge stuff to drop in some cheap early game. just a thought though :)

Fate Transfer is an interesting concept except im expecting that my walls will be riddled with both -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters up the wazoo so im not sure how transferring them around would work out. It is certainly a good idea to consider and i will use it while playtesting this deck. thanks for the input :)
