Artifact Deck featuring Clockwork Hydra and all the Myrs. When I first saw the contest on the front page I thought what kind of deck I could make, finally I chose making a deck using them and then abusing it with Umbral Mantel. Basically you'll tap your clockwork machine to get it a +1 counter, then use Umbral Mantle to give it +2/+2 more and using the Myr for that mana. That way you get basically +3/+3 and if you have enough Myr/Mana do it again and just rock off there faces. Obviously a deck like this calls for combos and combos and more combos :D. Mostly a Green/White with a splash of blue for Gilder and counters. I could of done a Bloom Tender + Transguild Courier combo for infinite with the Umbral Mantle but that's not what this deck is about, it's about getting out your Hydra and making him and or your Vorrac a truck and running people down. Energy Chamber adds more counters, Paradise Mantle + Gilder Bairn is epic win for counters. Noble Hierarch to add mana and exalted is good fun. It's basically a Green/White/Blue deck anyway, so no loss there. Myr are there for mana producers and Doubling Season for a little counter fun if I feel like it. Side deck for fun. I put the Bloom Tender + Transguild Courier combo in there for funnsies, Darksteel Reactor for fun as well, getting double the counters with Gilder makes for easy winning. And Harm's Way in case I'm in need of creature removal/protection, like icky red decks.
