Another card along the same lines as silence and chant that can also play well on an iso scepter is Abeyance.
I'd take out the quest for ancient secrets, if you are going pure offensive you shouldnt need it and it works against pyromancer ascension. You should probably run 4 ascensions if you want to base the deck around it, and in that case you should also be running 4 of pretty much every instant/sorcery that you decide to use. You might want to try quest for pure flame as well, the two of them could produce a pretty explosive burst of damage. The first thing to trim out is lava axe. The only way that card could possibly be effective is if you lit it on fire and threw it in your opponents face as a distraction. I would probably drop the inferno too just because you probably wont use it very often. I'd make some more suggestions about specific cards but I dont know what you have available. Its a decent start but you can go a lot of different ways with it.
