Deck Description

The land count and types of lands have a very specific count and flow, but is one of the best I can do in Commander format. There isn't much that draws cards, which is the biggest and one of the only downsides, meaning you'll be top decking most of the time.

Marash, Will of the Wild was the best Naya Commander that could get out Tokens, but can also do other stuff. Plus, if you look at the mana curve, you'll notice that it goes down perfectly until converted mana cost 3, which has a little gap, due to a slight shortage of those. Marash fits as a nice mana cost 3 guy to get out filling in that gap initially until you need to cast him again.

How to Play

A little sketchy for the first couple of turns, resisting/preventing combat damage. But the deck starts exploding usually around turn 3-6. Never gotten a hand that doesn't do that in that time frame. The worst is when I get out the mythic rares/planeswalkers. Those are game-enders.

Prevent or deal damage when needed, then continue to spam tokens and protect them.

Deck discussion for Naya Token EDH

I like it, most token decks focus on spells to create tokens instead of the big creatures that do. I might recommend trying Hell-rider or Purphoros, God of the Forge or for extra damage, Greater Good for some card draw when needed or even Staff on Nin. and any reason you don't have Swords to Plowshare/Path to Exile? since your running white?

Thanks. I always try and aim for the most versatility that I can. I'll see where I can squeeze Hellrider/Purphuros. The reason I didn't include Greater Good is because there are only 9 cards in the deck that do not produce 1/1 tokens, meaning that I'm not going to want to sacrifice them very often, unless I have quite a few of them, and thats assuming that I've made copies. Staff of Nin is a good idea, I'll see where it might fit.

I'm kind of knocking my head for not putting in Path to Exile/Oblivion Ring, or Hellrider, thanks for the suggestions!!

Cathar's Crusade is crazy in a token deck, as is Druids' Repository and Glare of Subdual.

Apostle's Blessing and Shelter just seems like a one-use Flickering Wards.

Disharmony can do the same thing as Act of Treason at the same mana cost but does it at instant speed, letting you turning an attacker into a blocker.

You have few ways to handle other artifacts and enchantments, and with all the Theros gods floating around that seems like a bad idea. Return to Dust and Revoke Existence will solve a few of those problems.

I do agree with you about the Crusade I forgot all about that card. However Enchantment remove can be good but I don't see any God really hurting this deck, MAYBE Thassa for the Unblockable creature and Nylea for a lot of trample for 1/1's and 3/3's to deal with . But the rest, all interact the way they would with any deck, and with the amount of creature's he has Mogis and Iroas will never really hurt him

Like he said, enchantments aren't necessary to remove. Something like Dictate of Erebos will barely make a scratch unless I only have one token on the field...

Deicide, I'll have to think about adding anyway, because Athreos is always annoying.

Cathar's Crusade is absolutely going in here, I just have to find where. The protection and combat damage prevention are to take care of the creatures that produce tokens, or protect me from serious combat damage, like mono-green devotion.

Druid's Repository and Glare of Subdual are better in aggressive token decks, I'm usually only going to be attacking if I have more than 3 tokens.

I'll see if I can squeeze in a Flickering Ward.

I'll think about Disharmony, but it isn't imperative that I put it in there. I just thought a little backlash would be fun.

Thanks for the feedback, really useful guys!!! I'll put the stuff in ASAP. Let me know about anything else, and check out my other decks too.
