How to Play

*REFINED* Deck Version 2.1.1
08/22/16
(30.00% of the deck is new, with a completely redesigned sideboard)

So for first turn one drops there are three options. Diregraf Ghoul is the best bang for your buck as a 2/2 for one mana, where Cryptbreaker is a very good mid-game builder when you start developing tokens. Grave Crawler is more of just a really expensive ($) antagonist who will become a bigger problem when coat of arms makes him a 20/20.

Turn 2 your just building mana, and playing more 1 drops, or holding onto doom blade incase your enemy has a very agro start. You could also play Blood Scrivener but I would wait until you have no hand to improve chances of increasing card draw. Side boarding Highborn Ghoul is a good option if you are playing non-black opponents.

Turn 3 is when you start casting your "Leaders" that buff your Zombie Army. Death Baron is by far the most important as he gives all of your creatures Death Touch, Cemetery Reaper just has a nice Exile and Lord of the Dead will re-raise your Leaders if they die in combat, or if you need to discard them early game to essentially use your graveyard as an extension to your hand. You can also play Liliana, however she will be extremely vulnerable at this point.

In Turn 4 it is crucial to play Endless Ranks of the Dead, the most important card in the deck as it creates the zombie horde. You can also now use Diabolic Tutor to fetch one if you haven't drawn it yet, and from now on use Diabolic Tutor when you need a certain card.

Turn 5 you really want Coat of Arms as it will give a huge bonus to your Zombies. If you haven't lost any in combat and have played a perfect game, your zombies will have a 5/5 bonus, which will then turn into a 8/8 bonus next turn. (Thats nine 10/10 zombies by Turn 6!)

Turn 6 you do what ever you feel is necessary for the game. Tutor for Liliana and build to her emblem, or cast Pontiff of Blight and give all of your creatures extort (Which is your source of life gain, especially because you will be sacrificing life to draw cards)

Notes*
- I tend to like Evolving Wilds as it slims your deck and makes draws more meaningful, however it builds a turn slower if that one mana is needed on the current turn.
- If you need more life, throw in Foul-Tongue Shriek as it will be no problem to gain a lot of life once you've built
- Bog Rider and High Born Ghoul if you are playing the right opponent
- Stillmoon Cavalier is your flying in the deck. He's a new important addition after playing and saw how weak I was from air attacks. The ability to give him first strike when needed is also amazing when he has death touch from Death Baron.
- Potentially only using 2 Gravecrawlers...frankly I just bought 4 and they are like 10 bucks a piece so I'm still using all 4, but 2 one drop zombies in its place will probably be more beneficial to early game defense. Potentially 2 Hunted Ghouls when not facing humans.

-Sideboard
- Bog Raiders, for when you're fighting against swamp
- Highborn Ghoul, for when you're fighting no swamp
- Hunted Ghoul, good 1 drop in place of Gravecrawler when there are no humans
- Wight of Precinct Six, good in games with a lot of people
- Zombie Apocalypse, good for facing humans...and kinda bada**
- Foul-Tongue Shriek, if you need more life gain
- Gravepurge if there is a lot of creature removal and Lord of the Underworld can't keep up
- Hero's Downfall, in place of Doom's Blade if you are facing black/planeswalkers
*First actual sideboard, I am extremely welcome to suggestions regarding the sideboard or the deck itself.*

**May need 50 zombie tokens to look awesome**
