Flavor text: "The ground erupted in time with the hedron's thrum, a dirge of the last days."

As the name of this deck may have alluded to, this deck is all about getting out tokens and devouring them to give you large token creatures. Send out your small tokens, eat them with your devouring creatures/tokens, and then kill your opponent with the large creatures/tokens.

How to Play

The main combo you want to get out is Assemble the Legion, Doubling Season and Mycoloth and/or Dragon Broodmother. This combo allows you to send out an increasing amount of tokens each turn, doubling counters and thus quadrupling the tokens produced each turn with Doubling Season, that can then be used as snacks for Mycoloth or the dragons you send out with Dragon Broodmother. Mycoloth and Broodmother also have great synergy since Mycoloth sends out saproling tokens each turn which can be used as snacks for your dragon tokens as well.

Lingering Souls gives you some extra tokens and can be flashed back with the assistance of any of your mana production cards. Idyllic Tutor lets you search for the enchantments you need for your combo.

Awakening Zone serves as another means to get out tokens each turn and these tokens are mostly used as sacrifice fodder either to create additional mana or as snacks for Mycoloth or the dragons Broodmother sends out.

Path to Exile gives you creature removal. Lightning Helix can give you additional creature removal if said creature is in burn range or a means to deal additional damage to your opponent as well as gain life.

Sarkhan Vol gives all your creatures haste, which is extremely helpful in this deck, as well as a means to take another opposing creature and send out dragon tokens. It should be noted, of course, that planeswalkers enter the battlefield with double the counters if you have doubling season out. That means you can send out 10 dragons immediately with Sarkhan.

As always, hope you enjoy this deck!
