If you're talking cash, not really, compared to some of the Commander decks I've seen. If you're talking CMC, the curve is pretty low.

OP: Cards that do what you want Tendrils to do here, according to a Vault search, are Consume Spirit, Drain Life, and Soul Burn. They're all Sorcery speed, and you may want to choose depending on what format you're trying to fit the deck into. There aren't any instants that do this, I believe, not sure about creatures.
I would think that Thee Fish is too expensive and comes in too late to be worthy of a slot here. I tried to make a deck based around that/Fraying Sanity, and it seemed to run too slow. That was standard, though, maybe this deck has the potential to go late game enough for it to be effective?
I can imagine that an EDH deck with no sleeves would be an absolute bear to shuffle!
I went W/R servos, maybe you can glean some info from that? Of course, that was before Amonkhet and Ixalan blocks were out. http://www.mtgvault.com/thumperhill/decks/forgotten-soldiers-1-servos/
Ah, I forgot about the welcome decks! Carry on!
Bloodhunter Bat & Nightmare are not standard legal. You also have Standard Pauper as one of your tags, which is also inaccurate...
PLEASE tell me you play with sleeves with this stuff! I would vomit on sight if I saw someone bridge an Underground Sea...
Is this an EDH deck start, or is this strictly Standard? If it's Standard only, you've got a lot of dinos spread all over the usefulness scale. Some suggestions:- Kinjalli's Caller: I'd add four of, as they're a good blocker, turn one play, and buff your Dinos.- Drover of the Almighty: Decent turn two play, buffed by Dinos in play, and a mana source to ramp into big stompies.- Rile: Great for all those big booty creatures you've got, and a source of a card.- Gishath: Win condition, if you haven't already by the time that's played- Rampaging Ferocidon: You may find this hurts you more than your opponent, especially if you're going Tribal. Tribal relies on creatures, so you may be casting more than they are. I'd drop this.- Savage Stomp: Nice buff and possible removal for cheap.- Life Goes On: Dump this. It's a cheap card, but it's benefit is just as temporary as it is. Spells like this that give a one-time life gain are rarely worth their slot in the deck. Drop it.- Crash the Ramparts: Decent buff for the format.- Unclaimed Territory: Pick up three more of these. Great card for tribal anything.Remember that Dinos are expensive, so pay attention to your curve. With the right cards in play, Dinos are fast. While the larger ones may do a lot, affect game play significantly, and just look pretty cool, you may find yourself not being able to play them as effectively as some of the simpler creatures in the tribe. Also remember that, when trying to build a tribal deck, make sure that your cards all help each other out. Dump Looming Altisaur and Raptor Companion. They may be Dinosaurs, but they don't help your Tribal build at all. They take, but do not give.Just some thoughts, I apologize for the novel.
How does Herald of Anguish fit in the SB? Super expensive without the artifacts to tap to get it out on the field. Seems like it's only feature is it's discard, but surely there's something else that could take it's place?
Ball Lightning? Neat concept with Browbeat and Breaking Point, planning to proxy this and try it out.
All three are solid, especially Sigarda. Also, out of curiosity, why no Tamiyo here? With all your clues, her -7 ability would be nuts.
Only if another creature has it. Same for his whole list. He doesn't technically have an ability himself.
Unfortunately, no. I don't have much advice on a sideboard because I don't tend to make them. But how I see a sideboard functioning well is covering the very specific deck archtypes that you don't cover within your main board and are most likely to run into. To you, a sideboard of artifact hate may not be the best if you don't play many people with artifacts. On the other hand, if your opponent has a deck that drops massive creatures, cards like (for example) Fireball would be a good sideboard option to clear those.Hopefully someone can send some advice your way regarding this where I've fallen short. Keeping an eye on this deck :-)
Looks pretty good to me. While my expertise is not red and definitely not blue, I think you've got something workable here.I feel like this deck could use a Chandra. I like Chandra, Flamecaller for it's ability to create little Spark Elemental tokens, as well as it's deck cycling of discarding your hand to refresh it. You'll definitely need the draw with such a low mana curve. I'd drop a Spellheart and a Swiftspear to run two of them, but they are a bit more expensive.
I'd test this deck with Confront the Unknown in it, see if it assists you much. Erdwall Illuminator is a good flier for the investigate mechanic, and Tamiyo's Journal would give you a clue every upkeep. You mentioned you're trying to utilize the investigate mechanic of Tireless Tracker. Just be careful you don't end up relying on the, "Glass Cannon," or a single creature that is super hard-hitting. With blue and black being what they are, you could fall victim to removal, debuff, counter, or bounce relatively easily.
Good to know, thanks for the info. Was the Storm mechanic deemed too strong for the pauper format? Your comment of, "nearly all other usable storm cards" leaves me wondering if that's the conclusion they came to.
I'd ditch the Brainstorm, since you don't have a way to shuffle your library, thus locking down your next few turns whenever you use it. Ponder, Catalog, Preordain, or Divination would all be good choices. Dream Cache may also be a decent choice. Similar to Brainstorm, but drops stuff to the bottom of your library instead of the top, allowing you to deck cycle a bit faster.
Solid deck, and budgeted quite nicely! Not sure what legality you're trying to keep this deck in, but in my B/G elves deck, I have an Ambush Commander, which instantly makes all of your, "for each elf you control" abilities insane. Not legal in Modern, though, so that's a no-go if you want to keep it there. It also boosts Drove of Elves through the roof.Joraga is such a strong choice, glad to see it here.Maybe Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen for life gain, but this deck looks like it runs super fast, so there may not be a need for it.
Possibly. If you need to discard it, then delirium. If it's later game, and you're top-decking, more use out of it. Not a bad choice for this, IMO.
