The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Black, red and white. Forge, or at least that's what I call it. This is a modernized version of a deck I piloted in standard at the height of Caw-Blade. The reason its so dangerous is that it gets the best packages in one shell. Conrtrol at its finest. Blockers, instant speed removal, discard, and land destruction. And if your opponent still won't give up there's a lovely sword action in here. To get the job done.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm playing this at my next PTQ. Especially looking for sideboard options. Thanks.

How to Play

For the early turns. Use disruption and draw to gain advantage. Target creatures with removal that can break through your walls.the sooner phyrexian arena comes down the better. Use ajani and lilly to crush your opponents spirits. Then finish off with swords.

Deck discussion for Infernal Forge

Well, where you have it, the swords can only equip to your wall, and as such, you have no way to deal damage other than Ajani and lightning helix. (Plus their abilities won't activate) Control can be good, but without a win condition, the best you can possibly get is a tie. Just throw some Caw in with your blades and it should be better.

That's why I have four copies of Lingering Souls. Just one is equal to a whole set of Squadron Hawks.
