A creature less deck that revolves around Narset, Enlightened Master. built with spell supports to aid you while you build up mana to summon your commander.
1. Stall for mana as much as possible. Protect yourself with spells (e.g. returns, burns, token producing spells) until you build up mana to cast Narset2. Cast cheap token producing spells (Dragon Fodder, Midnight Haunting, Master's Call...) to defend yourself from opponents creatures. Enhance your tokens with equipments (Moonsilver Spear gives your 1/1 equipped creature an ability to give you a 4/4 flyer whenever it attacks. Yes. it doesn't need to deal any damages at all!) to maximize your defense from combat damages. 3.Use burns to eliminate small fries (aim for mana dorks if there's some) and with magma jet and spark jolt, you can scry to stall for mana.4.Use return spells wisely, delay commanders or planeswalkers. if you happen to draw Perilous Vault, it's probably best to use it before you summon Narset. Divine Reckoning is also best for cleaning up blockers (and you can do it twice... flashback baby!!!). Mass Calcify leaves most of your tokens while killing all other non white creatures (Narset counts as white. yes she's not affected.) Mob Rules lets you "borrow" target players creatures and join your minions! if you happen to have Demonmail Hauberk in play, you can sacrifice each creature you "borrowed" so nothing can return in your opponent (sweeet!)5.Brainstorm, Ponder, Serum Visions, Preordain, Sleight of Hand, Telling Time are usually used for stalling mana in the early game. in later game, use it to manipulate your library to get worthy spells in place for Narset's free-casting ability.6. Attack with Narset and build her up with free equipments (e.g. Hot Soup+Butcher's Cleaver+Fireshrieker). 7.Narset has "Hexproof" so your only problem now is your opponents blockers. You can use Hot Soup, Whispersilk Cloak or Rouge's Passage to make her unblockable. You also have to remember that Narset's ability triggers when she "attack" it doesn't matter whether she deals combat damage or not (yet). meaning, if you exile Suplant Form, Into the Roil, Trumpet Blast and Magma Jet with her ability, you can; -Return up to two possible blockers (then put a token that's a copy of one of those blockers for yourself!) -Add an additional +2/+0 to all of your creatures -Burn one more creature, player or planeswalker then scry 2.5.These can be done "on or before blockers are declared".... for free!
