I suggest "Oppresive Rays", "Blind Obedience" and "Angel of Jubilation". Btw Luminarch Ascension is easily countered by extort abilities.

take a look at mine for more ideas: http://www.mtgvault.com/troopa/decks/stop-spending/

nice
thanks for that combo. I suppose you gain infinite mana and then play the killing spell.

wouldn't 'Samurai of the Pale Curtain' make the effect of 'Indebted Samurai' useless. Because the permanents are never going to the graveyard, neither your own samurais.
I can understand you put it in but if both are on the battlefield one is just a normal samurai.

But nonetheless it's a great deck.

thx for the input.

This deck was never intended for standard legality. It's meant for casual play with friends. So there will probably be no sideboard as well.

I quite like the charlatans abillity to copy instants but the 'guttersnipe' is better.

what should be replaced for Counterflux and Electormancer, though? I don't want to remove Lightning Strikes and the Shrine (at least not all of them) but the multicolored spell are a + to the deck.
What happens if I exchange Crypsis with Counterflux and Electromancer with the Lava Axes and 1 Shrine?

Those non-basic lands saved my game last time I played this deck.
Walking Atlas is much weaker than the Gardener. I don't have the gardener because of his land drop in my deck. I want the flip who brings me X/X Elemental onto the battlefield.
I once had Mul Daya in but I have enough land drop in here and the Nylea cards (bow and god) are just in here to get me a small advantage in the game (the bow helped me also saving my game as the lands have).

but anyway thanks for your input.

I would remove Brushland because the damage for 1 mana is not worth it. I recommend to add Lingering Souls to your deck for more flying. Everything else might work like this but I'm not very convinced. I feel like something is missing here, can't say what.

Thx, I'll try the quarter.

I also noticed that chronic flooding doesn't help me in end game. My opponent usually got more mana so he can simply ignore the enchanted one.
Can you suggest an alternative?
EDIT: I exchanged chronic flooding with Curse of the Bloody Tome. tapping land is not always given.

Yeah you're right Darth_Chaney but you can also combine the Master of the Wild Hunt with Wren's Run Packmaster. then you'll have a "passiv" removal. The Master's effect used with deathtouch wolves is deadly and you need just one wolf for everything except hexproof (but with hexproof it isn't working anyway).

instead of using darksteel reactor you could use everflowing chalice in combination with helix pinnacle

Nice combo you got here. I hope it doesn't matter if I collect your idea and add it to my win combo card listing.

you need at least 3 lands to play the bairn and 4 to play kiora. that's why I mentioned the lands.
I took the bogle as a starting creature. It can easily be ignored but then you are 1 mana short for turn 3 if you want to play bairn AND equip it.
last but not least the enchantment I mentioned was the training ground ;)

not fully working because helix has shroud. http://www.mtgvault.com/troopa/decks/win-combo/ with this 5 cards you can get a 5 turn win. You just need those 5 cards and 3 mana.

you can get the emblem out on turn 5 but you have to be very lucky.

you need 4 lands, 1x 1cmc creature, the mantle, the ground, kiora and the bairn.
Turn1: land + mantle + bogle
T2 (draw a card): land + equip bogle
T3 ("): land + bairn + equip bairn
T4 ("): land + kiora + enchantment
T5 ("): use combo

you must have 9 cards to do this combo. you can start with 7 and get till turn 5 11 cards in total. 9 are needed!

the deck poster wrote "if done right". Maybe he can explain how he would play this turn by turn and ending up by T4.

you have to be very lucky to get the emblem in 4 turns out. That's all I'm saying :D
But thanks for bringing up this combo, it looks great.

Might be that these 3 instants are of interest for you.
- Hideous End (1BB)--> destroys target non-black creatures AND it's controller loses life
- Hero's Downfall (1BB)--> destroys target creature AND planeswalker
- Go for the throat (1B)--> destroys non-artifact creature

the 1st and 2nd can give you more than destroying target creature as your "murder" does. the 3rd one is good against black decks.

yeah thanks for this accurate list of land set up. I think I'll test this deck with this land setting and maybe I'll change the number from freeblade with blademaster.

I'll let you know how it is playing with it :D
