RB Ascension burn deck. Ember Hauler is a great addition to the deck. Great expendable blocker that can hit for 2 damage, triggering Bloodchief Ascension. Worse case scenario, block with it and pay 1 to sac and ping for 2, adding another counter to Bloodchief. There is an array of burn spells to trigger both Bloodchief and Pyromancer's Ascension. Hideous End is great non-black creature removal that will toss a counter on your Bloodchief Ascension as well. Melt terrain is a late-game land destruction card that will knock off a land, and put a counter on your Bloodchief Ascension; With Pyromancer's Ascention active, it gets really ugly for your opponents land count. Staggershock is a real winner in this deck. It does 2 damage to an opponent when you cast it, and your next upkeep which results in 2 counters on Bloodchief Ascension. If you have one in your graveyard and Pyromancer's in play, it gets a counter for casting it from your hand, and another counter when casting it from exile. If cast while Pyromancer's is active, it copies it once when you cast from hand, resulting in 4 damage, and also copies when casting from exile, resulting in 8 total damage. -Sideboard With the new set Scars out, Shatter seemed like a must-have. Suffer the Past is great to gain a bit of life and trigger Bloodchief Ascension, while also being able to prevent combos like Vengevines, Pyromancer's, and Bloodghasts from being too much of a threat. Pyroclasm is good for aggro decks, though depending on personal preference you might want to go with Consume the Meek. Elixir of Immortality is good for the extra life gain against aggro decks, while also giving you the option of shuffling your graveyard into your library if your being milled out.
