in my irl deck 4 seems to work.

I love the idea.

Is this enough card draw? Not saying it isn't, but in comparison to izzet storm in modern (which has a perfect card draw to mana spells ratio), this seems to weigh more on the adding mana side of things. Mabye some red cantrips that draw you a card like renegade tactics would add balance.

so what about my original point? shattering spree > by force.

alright, how about this. shatterstorm is better than by force. it costs less and only one of the multiples (if any) can be countered by a single counterspell whereas by force can be stopped by a single one.

sounds like you just dont want help. curse of opulence is incredible in general, especially in this.

all right but i guess with thought scour, unless your doing sultai deaths shadow, opt AND serum visions are better.

opt is better than serum visions. stubborn denial is better than spell pierce.

I would stick to just rakdos, but i like the incorporation of the boros reckoner and the red white burn spells.

Not much to say besides, looks good.

Cards I reccomend: terminate, night's whisper, dragon tempest, kolaghan, and because of the general high cost of the cards, graven cairns.
