You need to post some specifics, such as format & whether budget is a factor. :)

(The comment deleted was in reference to another deck; on reflection, I decided it wasn't appropriate. Sorry for the clutter.) -.-

Again incidentally, I'm currently for reasons almost (but not quite) w/i my comprehension promoting the album, "Will O' the Wisp," by Leon Russel. Given your funky (cool) style of deck-building, I'm pretty sure you might enjoy it. :)

Your opponent wasting your dorks (& their bolts) doesn't keep you from laying lands...& Boggart Ram-Gang, Giant Soulifuge, & Fanatic of Xenagos will be just as happy to be spared them. Besides, it's not like decks play out like that 100%.

Although Sanctuary Cat is cute as the dickens, Ajani's Sunstriker might be a better choice, as it has lifelink. Spirit Link might be nice, especially if your friends' opponent(s) will be attacking w/ any fatties. Obelisk of Alara is expensive to cast, but will yield 5 life on each of her turns thereafter (or can be used to give a lifelinker +4/+4). Rest for the Weary has a nice landfall ability. These are all in good budget...in fact, if you want to expand your friends' options, you could add a nice SB for probably less than $5 (American). Fun themed deck, I'm sure your friend will enjoy it! +1.

Unfortunately, Coalition Victory is banned in Commander. :( Cromat, Child of Alara, Progenitus, Maelstrom Nexus, & Mirari's Wake make nice additions, though. :D

Also, unless I'm mistaken, this deck is specifically themed so that all creatures are RG.

Sounds right. Llanowar Wastes could replace Tainted Wood; I was going to suggest Abrupt Decay to handle early threats, but given this deck is quasi-budget, don't know if that's an option...Go for the Throat, maybe? (Of course, if you're playing at the KT, it probably doesn't matter if it's Modern-legal or not.) Overall, looks like a fun deck! +1.

I don't see the Abbot...were you referring to something else, or have you just replaced it already?

With Brittle Effigy, you could just exile Eldrazi...or any other creature you want to get rid of (& since sacking it is a fast effect, you could even get rid of Emrakul before it gets to attack). I do realize it doesn't exactly fit the stompy theme, though...& would also be vulnerable to removal. Sweet deck, had my +1 as soon as it showed up.
