try and compress the deck: its better to have multiples of the same card than tons of 1 offs, meaning your deck will have some consistency.

you can probs pull off a 20 land deck, just make 2ish of them a dual land

Well, remove as much of your coloured spells as you can. the door to nothingness and progenitus could stay cause they are the theme

I would personally run out some artifacts since it makes mana A LOT EASIER
cards such Prophetic Prism also are very useful in that they allow you to draw as well.

Invest in a few Alloy Myrs
You want fast mana and a win condition of progenitus so i would try getting more green in there (try to use cards that specify basic land rather than forest!)

dont know if you understand the rules of the game but you can only have 4 of any non-basic card in a deck unless the card says so otherwise (meaning, only basic lands can be used more than 4 times in a deck)

try again :)

16 lands is a bit low... even with the mana myrs

I would suggest swapping out those 12 myrs for 4 more lands + 4 Palladium Myr and 4 Alloy Myr which allows you to fix mana (or 4 alloy myr, 2 palladium myrs + 2 prophetic prism which mana fixes and draws a card!)

take out 1 mountain with a Izzet Signet and 2 izzet boiler works with 2 Sulfur Falls.

then take out the other Izzet boilerworks :3

also Double negative is pretty pointless. just grab a Cancel if you must (but i suggest Swerve or just another Divination)

First of all, im assuming youre going Modern, not Standard D: but ill try to keep the cards as recent as possible

swap out Geralf's Mindcrusher for Hedron Crab. Swap Vedalken Entrancer for Merfolk Mesmerist (cheaper version). Swap out a few Shriekgeist for some Wall of Frost/Guard Gomazoa/Fog Bank.

I would get a Stream of Unconsciousness rather than Hydrosurge just cause of the extra card draw.

Try and swap out the Dreadwaters for something like Sands of Delerium or Grindclock. the earlier you can place mill, the better.

I would also swap the Dissipate for something like Essence Scatter or Psychic barrier since your main worry with this deck is creatures attacking you.

All in all, keep the spells cheap, invest in artifacts that mill, get some card draw so you always have as many spells as possible and try and get some defenses up so you have free reign. Check out my EDH Mill deck here http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=364115
it might give you some card ideas.

I would also suggest splashing black for Haunting Echoes or graveyard exile or some Red for those hand cycling cards.

take out all the creatures unless they mill.

Throw in Guard Gomazoa, Fog Bank, and Wall of Frost (Kraken Hatchling if you want a 1 mana blocker)

then add in Grindclock, Sands of Delerium, Memory Erosion, and Hedron Crabs to add more mill (i would avoid Traumatize) and A TON of draw cards to get more mill cards and make the Erasure more effective.

also you have no definitive win condition, is it death by discard or by combat damage or by mill or what?

well to start off, you only really need a single elixir of immortality (maybe run 2) to make sure you can cycle your spells. I would swap out all but 1 Spellbook, and all of the temeple bells. No point giving your opponents cards too. Just run some regular blue draw cards (Brainstorm, See Beyond, Ponder, Divination). Those will actually give you card advantage. It will also trim your deck down so that you can get cards you want faster.

Guiles/Circus are useless in your deck compared to the Wrexial. put in creatures to defend you until you can take it onto the field. Run 4 Wrexials. Also i happen to own Leyline of anticipation. never useful. by the time i get it ive already basically won. you need a deck to tutor and heavy mana ramp if you want it to have a real effect. if you want more control in the earlyish and up to late, try running a Fatespinner.

Dont bother with the tidehollow. It can easily be killed with a cheap 1/1 flyer. Try running something like Wall of Frost or Guard Gomazoa to defend while you get your win condition out. Run a few Whispersilk cloaks as well.

You should try to cut your deck to 60 cards. dont run 4 of everything and keep more cards to defend in the early turns (1-3) since you wont be able to keep up counters against decks that are weenie or green. Get a cheap creature like Steel Wall to hold the first 4ish turns.

you have 26 lands, so 6 can go along with the other 24 cards you can take out.

splash black for Demonic Tutor/sign in blood/the like or blue for some cheap card draw and add more mana ramp to get those Quicksilver Amulets and Grimoires out onto the battlefield faster.

Make the ramp like llanowar elves or other cheap creatures who can also take some hits while youre building up.

i would screw the kraken hatchling in favor for more cheap card draw (ponder, see beyond, preordain)

Any deck that has a hefty portion of spells needs some sort of card draw to support it. Although lunar mystic might be nice, it will be a while before you have enough mana to spare those extra draws. Either cut out both of them or take 1 out along with a charmbreaker (simply because its so expensive. You want more defenses to last until the late game)

most of your high end (5+mana, and even some of the 4 mana stuff) arent really worth waiting that long to play. If you want a good spell deck, you need mana acceleration and card draw. Add more control in if your win condition is Charmbreaker (or add a larger variety of burn spells so that you can deal more damage as you buff up the guy) such as Psychic Barrier or more mana advancement to get those cards out faster (mana myrs!)

Lastly, swap out 2 unsummons: 1 for Disperse (useful for all around bounce) and the other for vapor snag (cant help for a little burn :3). Griptide for possibly a Dissipation Field or two...

dont run faithless looting. if you want card draw, use something like See Beyond, if you want flashback, run some of the cheap mill flashbacks (they cause annoying disruptions even if you arent mill)

also i might want to swap out a Negate for a Cancel just cause you normally want a small bit of flexibility.

might want to swap kiln field for Chandra's Spitfire just cause of the flying advantage. also i wouldnt run the mutagenic growth: yes it would mean insane buffs on but more defensive spells would be useful (seeing as you wont be blocking much)

if your deck is based on exiling creatures to get more tokens, you may want to splash either red, blue or white:

RED: Splinter Twin or cards such as Mark of Mutiny to grab your opponents`creatures
WHITE: Momentary blink or cards like that to get the effect twice
BLUE: followed footsteps to get extra tokens each turn.

yes and no... i would focus decks more on Niv Mizzet and less on that combination.

some suggested cards might be jace`s Archivist or others that are like `discard you hand, draw cards`

if you really want that combo to work, you need it out early. So your deck would have some tutoring and lots of mana acceleration (tons of artifacts!)

i might also suggest running a few cards like Wee Dragonauts or Chandra`s Spitfire since they get +3/+0 every time you deal that non-combat damage and they are flyers.

might i suggest cards such as Windfall, Wheel of Fortune (possibly fate?), Minds Aglow, and Wee Dragonauts.

They have similar effects to Jace`s Archivist, except some make you draw 7 cards instead of the greatest amount discarded.

i would swap out the arcanis for some mana acceleration to get the Niv Mizzet out faster (pyretic ritual, geosurge, mana myrs)

also dont depend on tibalt for his first ability. i would swap it with more cheap card draw/control.

Check out my UR card burn EDH deck, its based on a similar idea. you might get some ideas: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=369682

my bad i reread the Sutured Ghoul description. screw those blockers, just invest in some chump blockers that give nice effects (mana myrs, runed servitor, etc) that are also artifacts (makes for easier mana)
