Deck Description

Momir Vig, Simic Visionary lends himself to being a toolbox commander. Essentially, you will be able to tutor up an answer to anything your opponent presents, and then finish the game with a combo kill/lock, depending on what is needed. Momir Vig, Simic Visionary is a commander that reduces variance, and allows you to take similar lines every game to deliver a consistent, powerful endgame against any kind of deck.

Deck discussion for Momir Vig, Simic Visionary EDH

i play simics almost 10 years, and i know, you need some more draw, or play more green+blue creatures for instant draw of creature you need to tutor. good draw for tutor is soul of the harvest, or primordial sage. and if you wanna combo, you can use aluren and any "aditional turn" spell.
there are also a lot of other combos (unlimited mana + blue suns zenith for example.....) but i love to win with a dummy aggro tactics with prophet of kruphix, or leyline of anticipation and awakening muse. :)

There are a few locks in this deck, and one true combo in the form of Earthcraft+Deadeye Navigator+Thragtusk, Hornet Queen, or Avenger of Zendikar to make infinite mana and creatures (and with Thragtusk, infinite life). Other locks are Deadeye+Venser or Mystic Snake to couter their spells, and Genesis+Spore Frog to prevent combat damage every turn. I found that the most consistent kill, however, is Craterhoof Behemoth.

As for card draw, I find that there is usually plenty as there are 11 creatures that directly tutor for any creature, no questions asked, and can grab one of the big card draw creatures. I will take a look at Soul of the Harvest and Primordial Sage though, thanks! :)
