Deck Description

This is one of my first decks. That being said, this is far from the original. I have rebuilt the "Sacrifice Deck" time and time again and I believe I will continue to generate better "Sacrifice Deck" ideas. For the time being, this is my final outcome. A mixture of Vampires, Eldrazi tokens, and pure death. This deck is built to feed off creatures dying, no matter whose, and to force each opponent to their knees as they helplessly sacrifice each creature they own against their will. Played right, this deck will leave the battlefield completely empty of opposing monsters and at first sight of a new creature your opponent will be forced to sacrifice it; empowering your own strengthening Vampires. This deck has a mild speed and requires much strategic adaption in order to play to it's full potential. Expect your turns to be given much thought and to take more time than usual; this is because one turn can have multiple actions and can renew itself for more options each turn.

How to Play

Grave Pact:
This is the single most important card to this deck's control field ability. Using this card, each one of your creature's deaths will force each opponent to sacrifice a creature. This is very important. The use of Eldrazi tokens in this deck is what gives this enchantment it's power. Each Eldrazi (you will have multiple) can be sacrificed for colorless mana--and by using that ability as an instant (with Grave Pact on field), you can force each opponent to sacrifice their creatures at your will.

Blade of the Bloodchief:
The pure power that emanates from death and sacrifice emerge onto this very useful artifact. Being that all the creatures (except Emrakul's Hatcher) are vampires, each death in the game will cause the equipped creature +2/+2 per Blade equipped. This deck contains multiple ways to force deaths on the field just for this purpose. Grave Pact and the Eldrazi offer an immediate way to clear the field of opposing creatures AND give a substantial boost for whomever is wielding the Blade. You will be surprised how fast this Blade boosts creatures within this deck. Creatures will soar to 20+ attack/defense a mere turn or two after equipping. This has no affect tho if your opponents somehow keep blocking your attacks. This is why having "Fling" in the deck ensures a quick victory against bothersome opponents.

Recurring Nightmare:
Were you sad when you played Emrakul's Hatcher and only got 3 eldrazis? Did a good creature die or do you have Pawn of Ulamog on the field but don't want to hinder your ability to generate Eldrazi by letting it die? These problems and many others are seamlessly taken care of with Recurring Nightmare. By using it's effect you can keep sacrificing 1 Eldrazi (or whoever) to bring back anyone from your graveyard to the field. So make tons of more eldrazi with the Hatcher or cheerfully block with your Pawn of Ulamog and bring it back soon as it's your turn by sacrificing the Eldrazi it produced upon death. This card can be used multiple times in one turn and can cause long fulfilling turns that seamlessly don't end; not to mention doing so also activates your death and sacrifice abilities multiple times.

Deck discussion for The Sacrifice Deck (MEAN!)

add Victimize to your deck. You sacrifice a creature, and return two target creatures that you can later sacrifice.
