this can be really good in modern!! america control is a pretty great deck, and you can slowly add in some other cards like ensnaring bridge and ghostly prison. the deck is called lockdown and can kick some serious butt. ive seen it running delver of secrets and monastary swiftspear lately, but your list looks great, just remember to hold on to some counters to protect assemble the legion!!

great idea! thats what i like to do with my budget, is start with a cheap shell, then add in cards a few at a time. sounds like Fun!

Well it'll break budget, but preemptive captain makes this really fun and competitive

I run a really similar deck (in a way) that's modern white humans. I like your creature choice though, I think its competitive

X4 cavern of souls. It is necessary in tribal, protects you against any blue deck

is this budget? if so its the most competitive standard budget i have seen, A++++. i ran similar with despise, thoughtseize, and mardu skullhunter mainboard

Rancor is good

its not bad at all. but at 2 its not doing direct damage by itself. its amazing in delver, but in burn where you need to do 20 ASAP its not as powerful
