luckily they are all under $10, unlike the shocklands were in standard, so its not the worst to trade for them. the fixed draw is nice

yea but having 7 more cards in hand than your opponent is worth more, especially if its enough to burn them out. i understand on the young pyro's
as for the temples, they do slow you down by one turn, but everyone is running them so im not sure how much it will really hurt you, your decklist is more on the control side

young pyro helps. temple of epiphany is a good dual land.+1 jace +1 chandra. why wouldnt you want to ultimate jace? its great card advantage, suddenly you have 7 cards in hand and they have none

Well, as for manabase, hinterland harbor and yavamaya coast are under $4. Manasbases a hard to get cheap, but >$4 is a deal for dual colored functional lands. I think we all have different definitions of budget from reading this... I don't see why not to run rancor

I'm thinking of red/blue/green control, using kiora, ral zarek, defend the hearth, etc. Small changes after ravnica cycles out

For that high of mana cost I just don't think it fits. And its only 4 damage for 4 cmc. That's bad math in burn. I'll check yours out

The changes I'm suggesting would put this close to the mono blue decks that place. I don't understand ratchet bomb, and curse of the swine exiles creatures, pretty useful
