yea i have a couple random fun ones i like to play with. i do alot of fnm and ptq's/iq's so i do have alot of more tournament- oriented decks
I didnt think of that one, yea ghost quarter would work well with it
man well it seems fun for you!
no, any token deck NEEEDS 4 raise the alarm. Ik dictate and spear are popular right now, but they are junk outside of standard, and unplayable in tokens. the only standard card that could even stretch to make it is brimaz or precinct captain, cut i dont see anything worth cutting to make a slot for them. listen to ninja, you cantcut token cards in a token deck
This is awesome, i have a big soft spot for infinite combos!
I like your decks, you have some of the more original win-cons i have seen
Restore balance deck with one drops is sweet! if you have them blinkmoth nexus or mutavault. they would be the only lands you need after everything is sacc'ed. i would run only things that can become creatures, with no actual creatures. then they sac all theres either way. look up the genju of the spires, and the other genju's. all one drops that make lands creatures
Yea its an odd rule, but it an odd card too, the triggered ability is "exiled" according to the rules text, so you can pay 1 to not lose every extra turn!
I love infinite combos. If I could afford candelabra I would play it at our legacy tourneys. I do one with isochron scepter, final fortune, and sundial of the infinite, to make unlimited turns.(Its on my page check it out) I have think you made a winning combo, looks like turn 4 or 5 it triggers usually
Thanks! Will update
The only ones I ever seem to use are arid mesa and scalding tarn. But I received 2 dark depths, 3 Liliana, 3 obliterator, and 1 dark confidant
Go for it!
I'm a burn guy for sure, but I just traded off every non-red fetch land I had to get the rest of my dark depths deck
I will cede that couch. think this is was competitive as budget can get modern/legacy. Some creative thing pull through in the budget category. Like the turn two infect decks-http://www.mtgvault.com/zaklax13/decks/infected-fun/
I'm just thinking with dredge, grislebrand, dark depths, there's a lot mor chance of them having a huge turn 2 creature in legacy. I play both, and legacy is a lot stronger and faster than modern
Oh its not my deck, I just looked up the rules to figure it out lol its a complex setup
thats why he needs the sages to untap it. so you have 2 izzet boilerwork and 2 dimir aquaducts, tap all to make 8 mana, than use 4 to untap all the lands, 3 to untap candelabra, for a net gain of 1 mana, repeat this process 21 times to make lavaclaw reaches a 20/2 creature and swing for win. or you could do it 50 times to mill your opponent 51 cards
Hey +1'ed you, im always down for constructive discussion
Exactly my point if you need to use tutor to get the souleater you probably lost in legact. not always in modern
