I mean if you just fetch 5 it would still work, just for 10 damage though..nlol bnolt them to death? If tarmagoyf can get through...? I'd rather see it go RUG than junb so you can get snapcaster and counter spells, delver of secrets, just some more win- cons (+1^, I want to know)

My question is what's plan b if you have, say 6 mountains out already? Do you just sac off 5, fetch the other 5? I love the deck don't get me wrong, just curious what plan b is besides the combo. Seems like you only have so many turns before confidant kills you

I've never played with or against meddling mage, but i figured as long as its alive it should be in affect. its like hypnotic specter. when he dies you cannot play the cards exiled with him, even though the card does not state that. that will always bug me

Athreos with Xathrid Necromancer is a great combo. Have you competed with this? love to know how it plays against other highly rated decks.

pillar of flame is good against pod, simply for the xile ability. You have great suggestions. I do want to build what you are saying eventually but for hardcore burn this list is what i got. trying to do the most damge per mana. Lightning bolt is the gold standard at 3-1, while lightning helix is at 1.5-1. I basically just sat here and Mathed up wins. I think splashing white could make a very cool aggro deck, and that'll be my next modern showing i think.
