How does that beat mono red? I can't burn it, big deal. I can still outspeed your deck very easily. Control doesn't beat me out. If we played right now I'd pummel you 2-0 without any issues. Your Esper deck is too slow to last against my mono red and your Azorius would need to verdict turn 4 to beat out my mono red, which I can have the game won by turn 3. I'm done with all. Not going to argue with people who use crutch decks because they lack originality.
Yea and they never do well cause the intelligence of an 8 year old is limited and can't understand how complicated an aggro deck can be.
How cute. Another Thragtusk hater. Those cards weren't crutches, they were just the better cards to have for Jund. Point is, in my opinion, it doesn't take much skill to play a control deck.
As I said before, it's a crutch. Control is an easy style deck that just so happens to do well. Simple minded people play them because they know it'll get them far, which is why so many people play it. I'd be more impressed if those four people played anything else that didn't involve doing nothing for 4 or 5 turns.
Combo decks at least take skill to pull off the combo. Control decks any 8 year old magic player can put together without any help.
Cause this deck can do it's job without Hero's Downfall. It isn't really aching to waste a kill spell on a planeswalker or creature at the end of my opponents turn.

I can kick control to the curb any day of the week. Just tired of seeing everyone play such an easy style deck that involves doing nothing but being an annoyance until you get what you want out. It's such a beginners deck that, after awhile, you shouldn't be playing anymore. Don't think I don't win my FNM's and don't think I can't beat control. It's easy to outwit and outspeed.

This deck looks like every other control deck out there. Control is boring and in my opinion is just a crutch for people who can't make original decks.
