As per the others, I already have Foundry Inspector (which actually works well theme wise) and does not need colored mana to cast (an added benefit over Sculptor, even though it costs one more mana).

I was actually thinking for going over to white for Tempered Steel, but I was trying to avoid Path as it gives my opponent that extra land. I'd rather go for Dispatch instead which has a similar effect. Canonist is also a good card, but I'd have to reduce the number of creatures to fit it in which defeats the purpose of the theme.

The mana is an issue to be honest and I was considering of adding some other cheap lands. Will look into the ones you suggested thanks :)

I built the deck during the pre-release and was unlucky to get any Llanowar Elves :(
Of course you're right for a more competitive aspect certain cards need to be removed like the Goblin Barrrage and possibly even the goblins.

Check out Corpsejack Menace and Winding Constrictor. The latter works wonders in this deck.

Looks great, the only problem I see is that you need a large amount of mana to pull Worldfire off and a suspended Rift Bolt.
I'd suggest Rite of Flame, its a sorcery and gives you extra mana for when you need it.
Or else play Braid of Fire for that gradual mana increase.

What about Alms Beast for that added troll?

Looks great, since you'er playing a lot of mana generating spells why not play Pyromatics for that added damage?

Look into Shrine of the Loyal Legions and Animation Module they might be useful in this deck.

Kederekt Parasite, Sign in Blood, Brow beat and Collective defiance would work great here.

Yes, but Llanowar is a one time effect that your opponent can mitigate with a simple bounce.
Also: Primal Below, Savage Summoning, Hunger of the Howlpack and Might of the Masses are all good options for this deck. Though I know you are focusing mainly on creature aggro.

Oran-Rief, the Vastwood would also work well in this deck.

The deck looks interesting, but could you please explain how you are planning to pull the combo off?

You can also use Momentary Blink in this deck. The flashback could make it worth more than Cloudshift.

This version seems far better than the first one.

Devour Flesh, Last breath, Rest for the Weary, Swords of Plowshares, Healing Hands, Oust and Phthisis are some good options to include in this deck.

P.S. the Swords seems to register as Modern Legal, don't know if it is a glitch.

I think if you'd include Spellbook and Legerdemain this deck would be worse.
They'd work well with Ebony Owl Netsuke and iron Maiden.

Actually, Laboratory Maniac is just a secondary win condition, the main idea is to abuse Niv-Mizzet's draw mechanic. I had decided to include Maniac as there was a greater chance for me to mill myself should I play my cards right.

Also the cards you mentioned are all good but too expensive (mana-wise) for my deck, I am aiming for a quick combo build so I can quickly draw my opponent to death. The Show and Tell card might be useful to get Niv-Mizzet out faster will play test it.
