Problem is, restricted cards are broken to the point of not being fun for anyone, especially casual. if things weren't restricted, the game would get kinda old very quickly. Might as well add 4 black lotuses and show and tell emrakul turn 1 or tinker out a blightsteel turn 1. They end up being not very casual games (i.e. you loose people that want to play against it). But if you have a playgroup that allows it and thinks its fun, more power to you.

also...since your playing red....sneak attack works nicely
only 1 tinker is allowed.Show and tell works though. And you can mystical tutor a tinker.
Equip Deathrender to a token then pop it.
Why not use grafted exoskeleton? Seriously though...what fun is playing with 4-ofs illegal cards and build a deck like this? You mentioned that you play this as a mock deck against your friends infect deck....then why elixir? if I were you, add in a few necropotence's...screw life lose and draw your deck turn 1....Also...remember to add 4 mana crypts.
might as well throw in 4 black lotuses as well. kidding aside...remove 3 demonic tutors, 3 sol rings, 1 mana vault, and put in more creatrues to make this deck actually legal. might want to get rid of the argentum armors and put in more growth stuff like berserk for a quicker deck.
For Blue: Alexi or Complicate
maybe a couple honorable mentions:Uktabi Orangutan...which leads to:Uktabi KongOh wait...you said stares...not porn itself...nevermind.
yea...suture priest does it as well...its a toss up for whatever one to use...usually by turn 4 i can just sac my creatures to viscera and have blood artist handle the rest...especially in multiplayer. Thanks for the comment.
Yea...mana barbs nets you life every time anyone taps...and blasphamous nets you 13 x each creature. Both are nice in this deck.
if you do away with the shrapnel blast/memnite combo and splash green, you get berserk to go into a turn 2 win (a lot). plus he blows by chump blocks with trample. just seems like a lot needs to fall in place for shrapnel to go off.I made a similar deck if you want some additional ideas:http://www.mtgvault.com/ash1111100000/decks/dreaded-kiln/Mine kinda moves away from blast spells and more on growth, but it works the same...turn 3 most the time. (a lot of rage quit :))
I agree...but with the fetches and the speed needed to make this relatively viable in the current meta (which is MTGO Classic...as I play this deck online in 2 headed giant format), I found that I needed to fix my land as quickly as possible. The city of brass and the mana crypt have done some of the life gain for me...but the real winners in this deck are mana barbs and hurricaine-type effects.
I thought brianstorm and the petal were as well.
Mana Drain might get the wurms out quicker...Instead of Counterspell.
all im saying is yes...the cards you chose are good cards, but in this deck, there seems to be no direction with why you chose these cards. If you want to focus on odric, then get out a bunch of 1/1s via lingering souls, or some other token generator...if you want to focus on life gain route, then maybe go the norin/genesis chamber route type thing. if you want to go the sublime archangle direction...get a good unblockable double striker to get the maximum exalted action from all your creatures...If you want to go the angel of hope direction, you might need a quicker way to get her out (ie reanimate). if you are focusing on equipment, then you need stoneforge. If you are focusing on planeswalkers...you will need control (like Wrath of God). I am just trying to understand what direction you are taking this deck.
if you really want to play the armor, maybe use Stoneforge to get it out turn 3. Odric is pointless with sublime angel.
seems like you are focusing on too many things in here...why the argentum armor, dark steel plate, requiem angel, odric?
I would look into using Illusionary Mask as well. It helps draw another means of getting the creatures in as well as masking them until they do their damage.Check out my version:http://www.mtgvault.com/ash1111100000/decks/mask-torpor/
