ghost quarter is a good archive trap enabler...also can help fix your mana in a crunch

I would add some graveyard hate i.e. tormod's crypt, nihil spellbomb, etc to the sideboard. (although nihil spellbomb is a card drawer for you, so may want to include)

I am used to playing classic on MTGO...so I forgot about the difference between legacy and vintage (as all the cards I listed can be played there). as for a different deck...All I did was create tutors to get your deck to function...all the main ideas are there...just added counter protection so you could get the combos to go off and allowed you to get the pieces you need....your 3/1 is still there...hexmage on depths, grindstone and painter, and rite and wall. I allowed you to get out depths, grindstone, painter or any of the sorceries to get you there.

if legacy, why not run demonic and vampiric tutors? (remove diabolics)

Run a splash of blue for tinker and trinket mage (to get out the grindstone) and a couple counters to protect your combo (like force of will)

run 20-22 swamps and some expedition maps (2) to tutor dark depths

Lower rites of consumption number by 2 and add mystic tutor (2) which will tutor a rites as well as the tinker or a nother "any card" tutor depending what you need

something like this:

-4 shadowfeed
-2 grindstone
-2 rites
-18 swamps
-2 cabal
-1 wall
-2 dibolic tutors
---------------
+3 trinket mage
+1 tinker
+2 mystic tutor
+3 FoW
+3 Brainstorm
+4 polluted delta (or combo of different fetches for blue/black)
+8 UB dual (underground sea, watery grave, etc)
+1 sol ring
+1 mana crypt
+1 vampiric tutor
+1 demonic tutor
+1 expedtion map
+1 urborg (make dark depths playable
