Teborax and Griselband can draw cards quite nicely - easy to bring into play once you have 6 shadowborn

Dread Return is nice but its the only card preventing the deck from being modern - any ideas to replace this card ?

Obelisk of Urd may help beef up the gobo's. Should have enough gobos out to help cast it too.

Also Legion Loyalist gives them 1st strike and cant be blocked by tokens! Frenzied Goblin may be a better option than goblin shortcutter if you have the manner left over :)

I agree with dedwards - I run a similar deck relying on shadowborns and have found you need at least 22 for them to be useful - to re-iterate aswell immortal servitude is an awesome card that complements them well. Just looked at Thrumming stone and ill b e including that in my deck :) I was using credit voucher but think thrumming stone may help more.

Wall of blossoms would be great as well as i was looking for a card draw, but how do older walls work with the defender rule? are older walls assumed to have defender even though it isnt printed on the card ???

Nice Deck - other cards like punishing fire would be an alternative option to seal of fire, or even galvanic blast (i know you dont have any artifacts but its the same cost for the same damage and doesnt give the opponent a chance to force your hand if they decide to destroy the enchantment).

Also worth creating a sideboard to tailor the deck against certain factions - include cards like combust for blue decks, or burn the impure for infect decks.

Maybee swapping Æther Flash for something like Banefire. Always worth having a couple of high dmg spells that could win you the game later on.

Or further to that... another option again creature decks is to include a splash of white and add Martyr's Cry + Heavens Gate - I use this in on of my decks and find t quite useful.

Nice deck :) If your ok to throw in a splash of blue then something like skyscribing could be added to the sideboard to replace Damnation when you playing against non creature decks.

Personal Sanctuary... never even thought of it - really good suggestion thanks :) will add a splash of white and replace mindcrank and see how it fares.
Agree that mindcrank does appear to be useful to some opponents' decks now...

Interesting points - mindcrank isnt really there as a 'mill' win its more of an irritating disruption - disgarding from your library everytime you tap a mana thanks to manabarbs is likely to mill them more into disruption than a card they need. As you say though with the increased flashback in play now and graveyard play it could play into someones hands, but against these decks you sideboard in Arc Trail instead.

Edited slighlty - included Glimmerposts instead of copperline gorge, dropped 1 ancient grudge added 1 more incinerate and put Pristine Talisman in to combat the life loss from manabarbs. Also added combust & Arc Trail to the sideboard, although may swap Arc Trail in for the reverberates...

Yeah looked at lightning bolt. M11 isn't listed as available in standard though? Or am I wrong? Will redo include it if it's usable!
