Main idea is to control the board, flood with tokens, buff said tokens, and have planeswalkers sitting behind your army. Sharuum adds a ton of resiliency and pathways to victory. You may draw hate from your table, but your fully capable of handling most situations. This is NOT a combo deck. I understand Sharuum is easily busted with combos up the wazoo, but i wanted to make a deck that performed well in early as well as late game and not rely on a wombo combo to win.That being said, i absolutley loooooove the synergies between all the cards. and If anyone can help me make even more synergy happen without adding a busted combo please I am all ears.
Play slow and pick your moments to shine. your early plays seem small and nonthreatening, when in reality it wont be long before your smashing in with tokens. let the board progress and sit back and play just enough to keep the damage away. when the time feels right, wipe the board. this deck is great at rebuilding after a board clear. weaknesses i have found come from random instant win combos, but who's not weak to those amirite? exile effects also hose us pretty bad.Once you hit the sweet spot of 5-6 mana things get a little out of control. by this time someone has just wiped the board and only now realizes their mistake. play sharuum get back a needed piece from the graveyard and bam you back in it. Myr turbine has been an excellent engine. this mixed with thopter spy network is just bonkers. now you got some defenders and its time to drop one of your many powerful planeswalkers. Jace, vrynn's prodigy - fuels your sharuum and smooths out drawsAjani steadfast - lifegain and great with contagion engine, ult is nutsSorin, solemn visitor - lifegain, token, crazy emblemtezzeret. agent of bolas - keeps fuel coming, can make a sol ring into a beast, easy to hit ult that can rip for a tonob nixilis reignited - card draw, removal, awesome emblem, great cardvenser, the sojourner - blink effect, ublockable , insane emblemelspeth, suns champion - token generator, board clear, overrun effectugin, the spirit dragon - lightning bolt on a stick, board exile effect, insta win ultIm open to all ideas, just remember its a deck that loves synergy and it is NOT a combo deck.Thanks for reading
