zmatt that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.... "When Oblivion Ring enters the battlefield, exile another target nonland permanent." TARGET. Oblivion is white. Blood Baron cannot be targeted by a white spell OR ability because he is pro-white. Oblivion ring's ability is still white because the permanent that the ability is coming from is white. Because Oblivion ring says "TARGET" that instantly gives Blood Baron protection from it. If we were to use your logic that means Angel of serenity could target it, white enchantments could target it, anything could target it!

Any player worth their salt will take out Thune before Sublime. I wouldn't commit to such a heavy reliance on Innistrad / M13 lands until you see what lands are being printed in Theros. (They have confirmed that there will be dual lands but it is not known if they will be a reprinted version of the duals.) That land advice is horrible blaze, no offense. Shocks and duals work best together, even without a fetching mechanic available. Keep in mine DX that in one month you're either going to have to cull half your deck or switch to modern. Might I suggest taking advantage of the Extort mechanic? Makes Thune more of a force to be reckoned with. Don't forget extort triggers separately too for each permanent with the ability that you use.

Trade. Most players won't want them anyway, only us who know the secrets of the maze...

Yeah I agree. She's really only good with lifegain or extort. She's a machine in Extort decks...

Yup.... Straya mate.... We have a 10% GST on everything except fresh produce, fresh meats and similar foods, and it's been circulating in the news that they now want to include that stuff in the tax too... Yay...

ANYWAY. I haven't got my Sliver cards I ordered yet, so I went and improved on another deck I wanted to try. See what you think -

Yes but not as bad. Locally grown stuff is usually quite cheap. Meat, steak and the like is usually around $15 - $20 per kilo (bloody metric system, lol, a kilo is about 2.2 pounds). Electronics is the worst of it. If you're going out to eat, and you're gonna have say, an entree, main and a drink, probably about $40 - $50 per head.

HAHA. For us, $110, sometimes $100 if we're lucky.... Market is COMPLETELY screwed... Even on Steam the prices are outta whack. Blatant price gouging happening here and nothing is being done about it....

Everything here is more expensive. How much do you pay for, say, a brand new release console game?

Nice! The local I go to for FNM does good deals too. $5 per booster and $147.50 for a booster box (sadly that's cheap) Cheaper than my brother sells 'em to me as well.....

Well I managed to crack 1 VoR, 2 for $34 ea and one for $40. So all up I paid an average of $27 each. Probably one of the better buys I've done. If I can get this guys to 23 - 24 each I'll be laughin... Except the only thing is the exchange rate is garbage which adds $10 to the final amount... All the sellers here in Australia are trying to push em for around the $40 mark.. Stupid idiots..

yeah fair point... Will see how it goes this Thursday and Friday. I'll have to order some more Galerider and Bonescythe slivers though. Totally agree with enchantment burn. I had this with basic land last time and it was ok, but struggled for land on some occasions. What do you reckon to a Gavony Township? And the burn sideboard is for dealing with their creatures and sneaky damage. And to mix it up. Pyromancer's gauntlet with Eletricity overloaded makes for some good fun.

Either the 2 Arbor elves or a Battledriver and a Kalonian hydra

This is how I was always taught about the 1,2,3 or 4 card rule.

4 if you want it opening hand or early game.
3 if you will only need it once.
2 if it is legendary or not an integral part of your battle plan, just a boon.
1 if it is extremely situational.

Nice. Great deck again Gas. Since it's so creature heavy why not have a couple of Domris in there too? Gives you that early Planeswalker support and they will waste their removal on him instead of Garruk. The haste with Kalonian Hydra is just plain mean :) I love it. Ghor clan is wonderful. "I'm attacking with my 2/2 hydra." "Ok it's only 4 I'll take it" "Make it 12..." "....GG"

lol... And Gas too, can't forget him, he gives good advice as well :)

With 2 of each you have 6 removal spells which when you think about it is 10% of your deck, should be plenty.
