I play with a lot of people that build for late game cause games that last 5 turns are boring. so maybe thats why I don't really think competitive means speed. outlasting your opponent is much more fun.

its for people who can't blow 1000s of dollars on having a deck collection and still want a good deck. There are good inexpensive cards that combo for great decks. I'm sure you could get this same deck(not cards but concept) just as competitive for under 40... a good sac deck under 20 is really pushing it I agree.

I didn't degrade work or taste. I degraded the fact that he took this exact deck and changed it by like 2 cards and added worse wincons. not from me. but from the guy i got this idea from... i posted his deck earlier... its almost exactly the same.....

http://www.mtgvault.com/brucious/decks/artifacts/ mine is alot better. it adds in a realistic aspect of only artifacts while keeping mana sources to a minimum . it is creature based and does everything you need to be competitive against most decks. NO LANDS is an awful concept because it doesnt work. concept works. but in a real world test. it would fail every time

too slow. too small change to get 11 0 drops out in order to lay down the artifact so all artifacts have affinity therefore deck would get wiped out with no card draw. no mana source and no control or delays. its an awful idea.

1. It's a budget deck. 2. It's a " get rid of that thingy" deck. 3. It seems to me the deck can handle its self....

It's amazing how you make such damn good decks outta cards less than a dollar.

ALRIGHT GUYS listen up. This idea has been played off as original so much its unoriginal now. It's old. I have a deck like this and so do many others but thats besides the point. Here are the flaws in it. "Oooo no lands... except I need to lay all these zero drops to play decent creatures. " "oh i guess thats a land then right?" besiiides that point ... whats the chance... with no real creature control other than other creatures... is it that you get 11 0 drops... in a game... think of alllll the times you got 11 lands on the field with no card draw. no mana ramp no deck searches.... think about it.... it has very few odds of winning... even if you drew 7 zero drops in your first hand(who would even keep that hand) thats 4 more turns you have to survive... of just drawing zero drops.. then.... well who knows... a random amount of turns until you get something decent.... lol

You didnt have to test it to realize this. you need 8 cards to make the turn one thing work. and if you dont get those 8 cards you lose until you do. and with standard decks now a days. well that would be way too slow.

EDIT: I dont mean standard as in legality. I just mean basic decks and how they run now-a-days... they're not very late game anymore.
