OK due to your awesome combo of infinite mana....revised my current deck turn 4 swinging with x/x mistcutter turn 5 hopefully gaining trample from green god http://www.mtgvault.com/chris79/decks/infinite-manamistcutter-trn4/ see what ya think :) grats on the combo
awesome combos.. but i agree with the counters and draw effect....mistcutter is an awesome creature protections from blue and cant be countered i have beat lot a people with him ...also using kalonian hydra.......have a similar deck although i used the gyre sage to mana ramp comes out for 1G normally by round 3 i have 6 to 8 mana......more than welcome to check it out http://www.mtgvault.com/chris79/decks/in-your-dreams/...and any feedback would be great ....few tweeks on this one you can get it up and running :)
and if your trying to double counters i have ran with vorel before....found that primeval bounty worked much better....i normally cast about 2 to 3 non creature spells per turn...and as far as a draw.....fathom mage is amazing....
may think of using spell rupture for a cheap counter....especially considering your building a +1/+1 counter deck...
As far as my theory for blue...specially playing red....burn on their turn cause them to tap there mana so your turn cast away....doesn't always work ...and anything has trouble with blue control
not saying dragon is bad the flying haste and protection from white is nice...although i would be more worried with blue
ok just my opinion....i would take out the stormbreath dragon...by the time you get him out and monsterous ....they probably not gonna have many cards in hand....suggestion ....i would say boros reckoner.....or fanatic of mogis.....if your just trying to get a 7/7 out on the field....look at awaken the ancient ....7/7 for 4 mana awesome deck though =) have one similiar if you like to take a look comments suggestions welcome if you like ...like it =) http://www.mtgvault.com/chris79/decks/ohh-thats-gotta-hurt/

right now the deck im trying to work the kinks out of uses dismiss into dreams for control
would exile and give you something else to beat people with a stick =) i'm not the best with control a buddy of mine loves to play the control style decks....anyways good deck though =)
