Might want to consider Norn's Annex as well. Really like the Koth and bloodmoon combo you have there with all the nonbasic lands.

Nice, looks mean to play against! I'd put in black sun's zenith and some other cards that will distribute -1/-1 along with your contagion engine with how many proliferate cards you have. Also, you said that the ideal win condition was having sanguine bond, exquisite blood, and manarabas out? Then put more of those in there! That or put some search cards in to help get the combo out on the field sooner.

Nice, but that combo is assuming that no creatures will get destroyed before you get done setting up on turn five. That's kind of risky.

never mind, changed the grinning ignus combo to something that used training grounds, helps a lot now. :D

Replaced it with voltaic construct, training grounds, and either alloy or palladium myr. That should give me infinite I hope. Was sad to see aminar go though. :(

Yeah, definitely agree that the fewer cards in a combo the better.

Thing is, it costs one red to get him back into my hand, and he only gives me 2 colorless and one red for it. Even with semblance anvil, I need to use one red to get him out, but there's still the cost of his ability to pay each time, so every time, I'm drained by one red mana, since I need two to get him out and back every time and he only supplies one each time I send him back, so it doesn't go infinite. If I use gemstone array then it can go infinite, but I'll get no mana for it. That's what magic man and DragonWolf7 pointed out (I didn't see that shortcoming either until they did.) That's why I'm considering scrapping it. While it can supply a nice amount of colorless mana, I would prefer something that can go infinite if possible.

Nice! I also have a green black self destruct, and I like what I see in here! Gleancrawler is a good idea in here! Question though, why put in mikaeus? From what I see, a lot of the creatures you have in here will have +1/+1 counters on them already, negating his undying effect.

Nice! I've always loved fast decks like this! One problem that I see is that if you don't get the combo here, there's a lot of high CMC creatures here that will fill up your hand quickly. You only have three creatures you can summon by turn two, and that's a problem, even with pyroclasm. I would suggest taking some of the dragons that don't pull their weight as much (shivian hellkite chiefly) and replace them with lower CMC creatures for early blockers to stall for time to get the combo or to just get high powered dragons out there. Another problem is the cost of dragon storm. It'll be difficult to play anything except for the mana ramping cards to activate its storm ability, might want to get a few low CMC cards (or more mana ramping cards) to help increase dragonstorm's dependability.

Hmm... I've been looking for a while now, but I can't find anything that will let grinning ignus combo go infinite. Honest opinions, should I just scrap it and try to focus on the Pili-Pala and grand architect combo, or replace it with a new infinite mana combo? Please share your thoughts.

That would only affect Pili-Pala, nothing else uses colorless mana to activate an ability. Good idea though.

Hmmm..... Manaforge cinder and smokebraider might do the trick but they both have weaknesses. Manaforge cinder can only activate three times and I'd need something to untap smokebraider, who will only work for elementals too, making it deadweight unless I get ignus out... There's also sisters of the flame, which will be more reliable if I get a way to untap it.

No, that's still reducing cost of colorless mana, It's that annoying red mana to cast him that I want gone. So far all I've found that can reduce cost by one red mana is ragemonger, and he will not work in this deck. Sigh.

Yeah, good point there. Know any cards that will reduce the red mana cost? I still want two infinite mana combos in here, so I'm not giving up on it just yet!
