Now, I'm FAIRLY new to Magic. About 4 months now. Can you explain to me why Preordain would be better than Ponder? I know Magic basically always comes down to math but just so I can explain it myself, could you fill me in? :D

I've actually been working on a deck like this for awhile now, but never thought of using the splicers!
I've been looking for a replacement for Squadron Hawk and I think because of this I might just throw her in!

The infinite life combo is a nice addition, throw it in for tournaments? Also using Kabira Crossroads in your land is a nice little 2 life drop I like to play, along side Rest for the Weary, 10 life in a turn for 2 cost is always a morale boost. :P

I'm surprised that you don't use Serra Ascendant?
